Ladies and gentlemen!!! i am offically a LCP (lance coporal) hahaha, dun have to save me anymore (u know "saving private ryan") heez...*cold* ahem, okok well juz wanna share this great news with all you guys but dun expect a treat or watever k, coz the pay only raise a pathetic 20 bucks... haha, well army mah what to do... heez...
Anyway, things about the this week, well... basically its also a rather casuel week, guess we are all have 'ample rest' for whats about to come in the coming months... there is many major events in the coming months, events like the annual NDP and SAF day... this 2 is the biggest event ever in a year (according to the seniors) its said that those that haven't endure these event will never be consider a bandsmen yet... heez.. so i am kinda looking forward to it, as well as fearing it... haha contridicting right... SAF day (on 1st july) rehearsal will commenced next month... and NDP will commence their rehearsal on june... haha guess i will be super busy in the comming couple of months, and with there i also hear news that we might clash with ocs day.... Argh!!! so many events!!! but well i guess i can only suffer in silence then... heez hopefully i can get to know the band A people even better through these period of time (not time i dun know them, its juz more in depth i guess)... okok going out of topic... this week, well been preparing for a parade for thursday, its a rather plain parade but it lasted till 8pm, so today we got the privilege of falling in late... heez... Today is some what a special day as we had an ORD function for batch 55, my senior's batch, haha actually they are the same age as me only that they entered earlier then me... Anyway, this is the 2nd ORD function i have attended and the first was in my training wing days... haiz looking at this batches leave make me think when izzit going to be mine... and thinking of that makes me sad coz ITS still a long way to go!!! argh... hahaha... Anyway so happy for them lah... majority of them is from band A and have already got to know them quite well so its still kinda sad to see them leave... juz wanna say very honored to have gone on parade with you guys, all the best for ur future and take care!!! today is also staff tay 'ORD' date, and he have been in the band all his life... 31 years to be exact... respect for him man... seriously... after everyone's little speech, we had a little reception before calling it a day...
Can't believe i am glued to the computer ever since i came home... haha camp must have made me miss technology so much man... Haiz, was suppose to be going out with my regular gang, but was cancelled due to the lack of organization... very common, already got used to it... heez... didn't really mind actually coz wan to save money... heez... ok lah.... guess this is all le... will be going offline shortly, been online for quite sometimes le.... shall blog some other time, then ciaoz....

Weekend
Hello peepz... its the weekends again... have any plans yet... heez... oh yah, SYF 2005 Central Judging for Secondary school band is offically over yesterday... Congraz to all the band that have did well, which i am sure that most of you people out there have... for those that didn't, take it easy as there is always 2 years later... Special congraz to ACS I, Dunman high and st andrews for making the top 3 presentation band... all the best when u guys battle it out in july... the force is strong with you...
Okie, enough of SYF, not on my weekend, i am rather happy this weekend as it started out pretty well... at least not rotting around like most of it... heez... Oh yah before i forget, SERENE SAN, HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY GER!!! heez... hope u have alot of fun and hope u like the present, thx for your invitation!!! Okok lets start of my blog from yesterday, Friday, in camp was pratically doing some self practise with Sam, had loads of fun, donno why whenever i am practising with him my tone seems to improve.. haha maybe the sight of him juz give me stress... heez... was thinking of taking half day yesterday, but didn't in the end as i feel its a waste of my off since we are going to do nothing the entire day... After work, rushed home to get change and get ready to go serene's birthday party over at her place... it was only yesterday that i realise that serene was living in a condo... haha and to think i have been sending her greeting cards on different occassion, paiseh man... hee... met up with dennes first, then we went to get a birthday card for her, when we got there, the place was rather filled with people, so we wished her ,and give her the present. then, we help ourselves to the food (which she kept pestering us to do so, being the host and all heez... Oh yah Serene was my jap class frens in case u guys wan to know... After taking the food, we sat around chit chatting and makaning while serene was busy entertaining all her frens and all, really busy man... haha... then at about 9 was the cake cutting, where she took picture with all her frens and relatives (us included) heez... after having the cake, we congraz her before bidding farewell coz we had plans... After that we set down at mac waiting for new from herbert and gang... was rather pissed initally, coz i hate doing stuff last min, and they actually thought of going pubbing last night at about 9 plus!!! well... we contacted with herbert and navin, and was suppose to go fulleton for a drink, so we all met there, but we ended up at Jazz@south bridge instead as fulleton was packed, and we stayed there till about 2 when they closed... li hao rushed down from camp and met up with us there... then we were thinking of going geylang for some soya bean curd and all, but we changed out minds and ended up in arab street instead, though of trying something new for a change... hahaha... there is this shop along arab street where they serve 'arabian food' and also had what they call a sheesha, so pipe that arabian smokes... we ordered grilled quills, and for drink i had traditional turkish coffee, and we also tried one of the sheesha, haha was actually smoking for the first time, kinda fun coz its comes in flavours and we had ours in strawberry, was really good experience... The turkish coffee i had packed a punch man, initally when its came it this mini glass and a glass of plain cold water, i was thinking is that all i was getting, felt cheated, but after tasting it, i knew what the water was for, its woke me right up man... its not like those traditional coffee, the taste when its first enter ur mouth its taste like some spice or those kinda zhong yao, but when its slowly goes down ur throat and spread opens, the aroma of the coffee stays in ur mouth for a long time, the water is to dilute the inital taste i guess... well, we spend the next couple of hours there, talking and giving riddles to each other... left the place like 4 plus 5 am, was really fun... by the time i got home was abit past 5, then i took a shower before heading for bed, the coffee took its effect and kept me awake till about 6 plus before i fell aslp...
This morning, got up at about 11 plus in the morning, donno why juz didn't feel tired anymore, so i slacked around the house before going for dragonboat training at about 2 plus, haven't been there for a long time, so was kinda looking forward to it... got there about a quater pasted 3, and there were very little pple there, saw some familiar face and many unfamiliar ones as well, but glad that the regulars still remembers me, heez... by 3.30 the crowd was more of less complete, so we brought out the boat... today paddle was rather 'relax' one i would put it, coz i haven been down for quite awhile, i join the boat for the inexperience paddlers, so things wouldn't be that hard for me... we did a couple of laps before proceeding to do resistance training on the beach, that was taxing, but a great way to build stamina, after that we had a couple of races before heading back to shore. After keeping the boat, i gave the drinking session a miss and head home as the rain was coming haha, manage to get home alright, took a shower and now relaxing in front of the computer... not sure wat i am going to do later though, kinda lazy to move already, heez... anyway guess thats all lah... hahaha Anyway, nypsb starting next week le... all u guys work hard yah... 2 months to prepare... i am sure u can make it... Jia you lah... Ciaoz peepz take care and gods bless...

random entry
Hey there people... heez... its finally mid week le... another 2 days of work day to go and then its the weekend again... was reading through my previous entire, the one with lots of complains... haa.. realised i wasn't paying much attention to what i was writing then, and now reading back, i laugh at some of the complains that i made... hee... u guys must have found it rather amusing also i guess.. anyway, whatever it is, i have sort things out... that everyone have their lives to lead, an i cannot be selfish to have all my friends to be free to accompany and hear me talk all the time, if i have to be a loner, then so be it i guess.. heez...
OK! back to blogging, ahem... this week is the start week of SYF 2005 Indoor band Competitions, Monday, took halfday off camp, juz to go watch the competition, managed to catch the afternoon session, and saw many familiar faces there... haha, and to tink i didn't know anyone in the band scene... heez... anyway the competition carried on pretty smoothly with many bands playing "Blue Ridge Sage" which i was really sick of hearing by the end of the day, [think 4 bands played that song for that day alone] The most exciting time of the day would be the results i guess...will be too lengthy to detail its but i would say overall everyone was rather pleased with their result, as almost everyone had improvment, if not standard have remain, sad to say st gabs have maintain a sliver... but well at least they maintain it an didn't drop... Sad was yio chu kang sec i guess... but the greatest winner of that day would have to go to Orchid Park Sec, they leap from a COP to Gold with Honors, shocking everyone there, I even leap with joy though it wasn't my band, coz i feel they did they did very impressively that day, However, i was too shocked, as i was expecting like gold, but with honors caught me with surprise, but no matter what congraz to all the participating band who did well, and to those that didn't, there is always 2 years later... not to worry... heez.. And for those who yet to compete... best of luck man...
This week in camp... hmm will have to say pretty relaxed lah... coz there hasn't been many parade line up for us... Been working out slightly these few days... sports like table tennis, badminton and soccer(this afternoon) Other then that, is slp slp and well more slp heez... sounded like a pig but well its really good thing to do, rather than eating, at least you are not eating *heez finding excuses* Today helped out with Ippt of the other bands, seeing them doing it reminds me of my tekong days... and also reminds me that mine is soon too haha... will have to work extra hard for it liao... Gambate... After that got early release so here i am blogging... hmm... guess nothing much to blog about liao ba... all eyes are on SYF this year... cannot wait to see how everyone fair, already got some shocking news liao... but well i guess with this year's judging, nothing will seem shocking in the end lah...lolx. alright then... thats all folks, seeya soon...

hey there people, been so thought i might use this oppotunity to 'vent my bordem' heez...
Haven't been going out lately, been having invitations but yet rejecting them... guess for this weekend, the main reason lies with having duty to do tommorrow, meaning i have to be in camp the entire day tml... that actaully 'spoiled' my plans for the entire weekend... haha.... easily affected yeah.... u bet!
Sometime i am starting to think, what i am feeling now, is it wat the girls terms as 'mood swing', of course not saying that i have 'that time of the month' juz that i can be happy for a moment and then totally lose it the next... its hard to explain as i myself haven't got an idea why its happening to me... Hate myself at times... Hate myself for being sensitive at times... might be a good things some of u guys say, but well its turns out, its seldom a good thing for me... its always makes me 'yi shen yi gui' [in english it means think nonsensically]...
I no longer have a standard group of frens anymore, frens now i guess comes in phrases of life... they come and go... sad to see them... its seem that my life is revolved in this "phrase frens" and i am at the end of a phase again for some i believe... Sometime i asked myself, why am i always tinking so pessimistically, but many a times i really cannot help it and can't really find an answer to all this problems... its difficult at times to find someone to be there, to listen to u at times... well i mean i know, everyones got to lead their own lives... thats its y i dun really even bother to tell my friends what i am facing, always putting up a strong front when i meet them, acting like everything is alright...
Well sometimes i do miss being a kid again, there is nothing to worries and you are free to dream and do anything i wish... well not saying that i can't dream now... but there is always a part of me that will bring me back to reality from my dreams now... as compared to when i was a kid... Some of my friends say i tink too much, or even think too indepth into minor things, which i completely agree, but i just donno how not to... thats y these things juuz keeps getting stored in my head and then will 'visit' me once in awhile..
Recently, i was depressed... its was something i have never felt before and it was rather awful, its juz felt like everyone have left me, my frens, my family, everyone, and i was the only one left in the world... and everyone around me seems like a stranger to me... i started isolating myself and all... then afterwhile, when i 'realise' the state that i was in, i kinda 'fought' that evil feeling and broke free... then things got back to normal, or so i thought... fragments of the feeling is still with me... and i have been trying very hard to fight it... haha you guys must think that i am going abit 'loose', and i really dun blame u for saying that, cause i am feeling it too... see a shrink perhaps might help... well have been thinking about that for awhile too... maybe i do need professional help, but well when i think of it... i just need someone there to listen to me, give me some advise, encourage me on... haha like a kid yah...
At times, stupid thought like am i deprived? or desperate for a girl to walk into my life... i really wonder... wonder will that day ever come, will that speical someone be there... or where is she... haha... u guy must be laughing at me now... same here, while writing this i am actually laughing at myself deep down inside... what do u people think? At times, when people ask if i got a girlfren, i would juz smile to them, not saying a word, that is because i really donno wat to say... haha, i guess this is still really down to myself i guess... i am too timid in this sort of things, and i am not doing anything about it... haha... But well, sometime i ponder, if i really do have that special someone, will she be paitent enough to take my mood swing, or even will my mood swing vanish once and for all... hahaha, see thinking too much again...
Hmm, writing all this reminds me of one of my course mates from poly last time, she use to do this all the time and send them via email telling people how depressed her life is and how bad her love life is... Am i turning to be like her? OMG, if am i then i should do something about it.. won't want to end up like her... she is sort of a 'nutcase' i would classfied under [not to be rude, but she really is]... Anyway, to all my frens where ever you are... from my past and now in my present... hope you guys dun be offended if anything in this blog have say that might affect you... i am juz venting what that have been kept in me for awhile now... so yah... that all lah... somethings cannot be put into words shall remind in me forever then... Cheers!!!

School of Combat Engineers Anniversary parade
Hey there peepz! its the weekend le... knowing that plenty have of u guys are having your exams if not have already completed ur examz... for those still having exams, all the best and for those that are done, PARTY ON!!! heez... On yah and to those that have finally completed their poly life... hope you guys have really enjoyed urself in these three years, coz when u think back of the many wonderful moments you had... u are gonna miss them man... heez.. i am one living example...
Anyway enough of all the talking, blogging about the week that have went pass in a snap of a finger... heez... this week have passed considerable fast i would say... having monday as an offday [for COG parade] busy even so we weren't left doing nothing though... we had reheasals for yet anot parade, nothing major this time, juzt an anniversary parade for the combat engineers held at seleter camp... On tues we have rehearsals in camp where we settle on the pieces to play... and wednesday was rehearsal at their camp, where we get to fall in late as we leave for their camp late... concurrently we got back to camp late at close to 9 at night... the rehearsal with them was more waiting then actually doing so, and with strange weather [sunny one moment, pouring the next] draining us up, it made the day more tiring for us... Thursday was the actual parade again we went down slightly earlier for one round of rehearsal before the actual... Guess what, the heaven decides to play a prank on us, on the actual, it started raining cats and dogs.. and the brasses and percussion carried on the parade while the woodwind stayed behind fearing there might be damage done to our instrument [which i see no logic at all] anyway... the guys managed to pull the parade off being soaked to the skin, so staff ordered them to take the entire day off while the rest juz took half day off as the rest isn't there... So happy Friday, we falled in at the usual time then proceed to our sports and games, was suppose to take our leave at 12.30, but someting cropped up in the end so we ended up leaving one hour later, doesn't really bother me, as i didn't have plan anyway... once i got home, i was glued to the computer [as usual] then about evening went for a little jog then came back for my 9 o'clock show [that promoting NKF show].
That i guess completes my week, what more can u ask from a ns man right.. haha the life in camp is pretty much fixed... this weekend i have quite a number of frens celebrating their birthday so i thought i wish them HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance, they are KOK WEE one of my seniors, who is clearing leave to ord, though i donno him well, but hope he have a wonderful birthday, other than that is boon hwa and my bunkmate Kris, who is turning 21 on the 10 of apr, juz wanna wish them happy turning adult and dn watch too much RA yah... heez.. kidding... alright then i guess i conclude my blog here... will be going back tml night or sunday morning for duty.. haha going to have a short weekend this week... heez... u guys enjoy ur weekends then... Sayonara!!!

Wet monday blues
Today is a super duper wet day, luckly its was today and not yesterday if not we would have been drenched for our parade...
Yesterday i had my second COG parade of my NSF life, and the final for those ORD personels like anneson and johnson etc... haiz... really going to miss them... even though i have been in band A for juz a short 2 months, but it feels like i have known this guys for a very long time... haha, anyway backed to the parade, reached camp at about 2.30 (suppose to report by 3.15) so took my time to dress up in bunk, forget to bring my white t-shirt, so borrowed from alvin, thx alot... then after that took a ride up the white house in joel's car... haiz... the good thing about owning a car... heez... after we fall in, there was a sudden change in weather as gust of wind started blowing, and the clouds starts to gather and the weather looks bad, like a storm is approaching... we had a little rehearsal before departing from the whitehouse and by the time we depart, there was a sight drizzle... on the way there, the weather was more to the 'wet and gloomy side' and by the time we reached town, there was already pouring and was in 'strong drizzle' (hee, hope u guys can understand my description of the rain, if not i am simply trying to say it was raining...) heez... When we got there, we waitied in the bus till the rain simmer down, and it wasn't a long wait, as if god have heard our prays, the rain stop and we waited for the guards to arrive... Zhong xi and allison was down there to watch me parade... and by the time we marched off, it was 5.30, sorry to have kept u guys waiting for so long, while waiting to march off, all the ord personel took lotsa photos and savour the final moment as this was their last COG, heez... still long before i could do the same... so yah.... with the shout of command, the parade commence and we marched grandly to istana.... the entire parade took about an hour by the time we reach the other end was 6 plus... and after we got back camp, we got change and went for dinner along adams road (with zhi xun, kris, zhi wei, andrew, boon hua, myself) then after hitched another ride to habourfront where zhi xun return home and i went for a little walk there before heading home on NEL, was so tempted to go into Harry's for a drink though... but didnt' coz i was alone... heez... some other time maybe, the ambience there was good...heez... and that ends off my sunday lah...
Today was off day, but didn't go anywhere (partly because of the weather) and everyone else is not aware i am off so guess they all are busy with individual plans i guess...so had been slacking on the net all day and rotting the day away... will be going back to camp later tonight i guess..... won't want to rush tml... so still decide to stay in for the night... but we are offically lifted from the stay in rule so its not longer a must to stay in anymore... WEEEE!!! heez... alright lah... guess thats all i have... u guys enjoy the week ahead and i will update u all more when i got the chance then... Cheers!!!

fun day at zhongxi bday
hey there pple, hehe... juz got back from zhongxi little birthday party, so tot i blog about it before i head to bed.... Anyway, its been a really fun day, at least for the second half of the day, woke up at about 10 this morning, then slack about at home till about 3 then met up with sherine and gang (zhongxi and allison) at heartland mall, got some drinks and stuff before actually proceeding to the area, which is at the garden at bishan, took a cab down, and zhong xi being the host paid the bill, heez.... when we got there... we looked for the pit and settled down and started organzing the stuff around... after which at about 5 we set up the fire and waitied for ah tom (as he washolding to all the bbq essential stuff) bus he only arrived at about 5.45 so once he got here we had to add some char coal before starting the actual bbq.. by then zhong xi poly mates nd some of her sec classmates was already here... was kinda made chef of the day, so was doing most of the bbqing... heez... then slowy the crowd starts to arrived.... then when the crowd was more or less assembled, we cut the cake, funny thing was zhong xi was made to blow out trick candles which litght up after it distingushed... so funny to see him do it.. haha... after that... they took a few picture then his parents went home, and that is when the fun actually starts... heez.... first attack... cake on the face, asked him over for a photo session, then when count to three had i landed a piece of the cake on zhongxi face... was dame funny... heez.. and pretty evil i would say.. but i like... [evil grinz], second blow was the most effective, as me, zhi sheng brian and ah tom took him by the limps and dunped him into the pool, all his frens did was took photos... lolx... so funny... and he kana not once but twice... heez... we felt the first was not enough and wasn't far enough... so he went in the second time...heez.. after that was a series of drinking with him till he cannot tahan.. haha and he really didn'take it... puking eventually, not that i am happy that he puke, but at least it was a memorable day for him.. juz wan to wish him a very happy birthday, i finished the rest of the volka so ya.. was alright... head abit heavy though... had a few photo taking session, with xiu, sherine and all, was really fun , then when we got back to the pit, zhong xi was already down, so i left with sherine and anne (her fren), touch off at boon keng where anne stayed and took the NEL home, not forgetting to take a photo with anne before we leave... hee so fun... overall its been a great day.. heez... hope u guys have as much fun as i did... can't wait to see the photos so post it up fast k... heez... tink i am going to call it a night soo... tml i am having a parade in orchard so if u have time come supprt ok... will be marching down from hereen to istana at about 3 plus... so hope to see u guys... heez.... ciaoz.. and night... Paid performance
helo pple... something is wrong with msn today, seem to have some sort of connection problem... really fustrating a for person that loves to talk on msn like me [are they pulling an april fools prank too, i wonder???]... but anyway have to bear with it... won't give up trying though...
Today reported to work in the afternoon as our performance was at night, so can wake up without the disturbance of an alarm clock [haven't done that in a long time le]... then had a couple of bao [cha siew bao] for breakfast before accompanying my dad and mum to visit my sister...then after that was suppose to go lunch with them but due to the lack of time, i have to rush back to camp first... was pouring halfway, thx to my dad who provided me with the umbrella... Anyway, got to bunk, got change and assembled at the whitehouse, had some last min rehearsals and waited for the bus, Once we got to the westin stamford, there was rehearsal straightaway, so we practise how we are going to march in and all the songs and stuff, so lame i must say, felt pretty redundant because i felt we were very out of place (doesn't suit the event i mean), but have to go through it, wat to do... its a paid performance... After multiple rehearsals finally break for dinner, where we rest in the lounge and savour dinner delivered to us from nee soon camp.. heez... after dinner, rot awhile more till about 7.10 before the event starts, and we got dressed up and prepared ourselves... we entered with an impact, almost making those sitting along the side deaf... heez... the people was first shocked to see us... but then slowly, roaring applause after awhile for the award winners that followed behind us... [that was our purpose, to lead the award winners]. After all of them was on stage, we made our exit with another song and that was it... a performance less then 10 mins, and we have prepared like for 2 weeks!! hahaha... after that we packed up... and return to camp.. by the time got back to camp its was 9 plus, all my plans of going out after performance was popped... so got home and be the good boy that i am... =P, And that pretty much covered my day, short yet fruitful day... heez..
Finally, just want to wish everyone the best of health, know that the weather haven't been very good recently and everyone is more pron on falling ill, so be extra careful with the things you eat and do... yah... nothing is more important than your own health... Stay healthy and happy Always...

Busy week
Hey there... surprised to see me here??? heez... well i am here because tommorrow need not assemble early so kinda miss my bed... so yah i am home... heez...
This week is totally different from last, its rather busy i would say... the entire weekend is packed with activities... so we have spent the entire week rehearsing for the events... first up tml, a paid performance for some insurance company dinner... (not allowed to tell which one, so go find out for urself).. pretty lame performance i would think as it is a 3 mins performance but we have to work for the entire day... sian man... but i guess people assume SAF bands to be of good standard i guess.. haha.. anyway the other event we have been busy with for the past week is COG (Changing of Guards) taking place is Sunday, will be main again, meaning marching down from hereen to istana again... haha though i have done it before but its always very exciting to do this... heez... Anyway since i mention it... if u happen to be in town on Sunday around 3.30pm, just pop by to watch or even look for me k... heez... the starting off is at beside hereen, close to Partyworld ktv... very easy to spot... okok enough advertising le... back to blogging... have been engaging in sports frequently, even though the hectic schedule, usually find strength after work to play badminton with arthor and gang, Monday was the most siong, played like 2 hours of badminton then at around 9 plus, went for soccer game with the rest till close to midnight before we stopped... was a direct knockout that night... haha... oh yah, also watched jian gui 10 (the eye 10), was not bad, funny at some parts, yup u heard me correctly...funny, but some parts or should i say most of the movie kept me sitting at the edge... thinking of it still gave me the creeps at time.. not bad a movie to watch, but not for the weak hearted... heez... hhmm... other then that i guess i pretty much covered what i have been doing this week... oh yah... recieve my bills this week... haiz... burned 1/3 of my next month pay le... bills are up till 100 plus... argh.. there goes my plan to get my things...haiz... sadz man... anyway ming tian hui gen hao... i hope.. ciaoz..

Irish Fair 2005
Helo everyone... heez... as you can tell my mood have been better since the past few days... tink staying in camp too much have gave me the 'in camp depression' i guess... heez... thx to all those that have help kai dao me... hor Sherine... heez.. thx arh.. anyway juz wan to tell everyone i am feeling much better now... heez..
Yesterday had alot of fun after a long time... really literally let my hair loose and had fun... heez... i don't have long hair so only can let my hair loose and not let my hair down... heez... Anyway back to topic... in the morning, went back to St Gabs to watch their progress and preparation to the coming SYF... serious have doubts on them but well juz have to wish them all the best... the teacher in charge, Jerffery Chan, still never failed to give me a grand intro to the juniors... telling them then great history of how i got up to stage of syf on crutches on 1999 syf where we got gold... thx arh Mr. Chan... Initally thought i might be able to play along with the band... but ended up i only got to listen to their performance... though abit disappointed not having the chance to join in... but nevertheless, felt good watching some talents emerging from the next generation... heez... talk like majiam i very old liao... heez.. After band pract, went home to put my flute, had lunch and head off to SIR building to collect my passport... was actually tinking of going for a paddle, but looking at the weather, i thought otherwise... ended up meeting angelina, the accompany her for worship meeting (meaning she had her meeting while i sat at a corner waiting). Once done, we met up with a couple of angie's frens, Jessie and Pei shan, and went for subway while waiting for pei shan's fren... ah boon, alan and dennis... heez... so cool to know so many new people in a day... they are friendly pple so had a nice time chit-chatting with them over dinner... Once done, we all went to the Irish festival 2005... its an open air thingy, so was kinda worried at first as the sky didn't seem really pleasant... however heaven was kind on us and it juz drizzled occasionally... we settled down at a mat infront of the stage... and each have a Guiness draft (which comes with our entrance fee)... 'Slainte' we all shouted before drinking, an irish word for cheers... taught by pei shan, who had been to ireland for attachment for 4 months... the place was rather calm at first... people still not daring enough to dance and all... (being singaporean) but as the night passed and booze start to set in... more and more pple started to dance and had fun... was really interesting to watch too... Heez.. together with pei shan and gang... we too join in the fun later that evening... there was a Q&A and i actually went up and won myself a limited edition Guiness home phone... so cool... We partied till like close to midnight, and had quite abit to drink since drinks are like 5 buck a drink...was good... we easily cleared up to 20 cups i guess... after that... i had to leave that group as i was going to meet herbert and dennes for supper... so i parted off with them at about 12 plus and meet up with herbert... went all the way to changi for nasi lemak.. then drove to our hang out to catch abit of airplane before calling it a night... was indeed an enjoyable weekend... really enjoyed myself to the max.... thx pple for everything... heez.... alright then i gues s thats all for the week ba...
After all this... just recieved a terrible news that one of my frens mum have passed off... sad to lose a love one... the news came suddenly so i am still sort of in a lost... but will be going to her wake later before returning to camp... live is so unpredictable... juz hope she can take it easy...

yet another day
Hello.... haha... been awhile since i wrote blog everyday liao right... well so happen that i am online i will write...
Anyway, the day wasn't as bad as i expected... as least i didn't rot my way at home, slowly breaking away from my 'depression' i guess... a little fresh air always helps... Was thinking of trying my luck at sir building (to collect my passport) but unfortunately my luck wasn't that good as they were not open on public holiday, so i went over to beach road to have lunch... After lunch slowly walked to bugis...didn't really did much shopping at bugis though, because i have been there juz a few days ago... Instead, i went to the temple and pray since i am nearby... from there, i actually walked all the way to orchard road... haha dunno what have got into me but i was juz bored and since i am alone so what the heck i guess...heez... First stop PS, was strolling at the shops aimless looking at things as well as the people shopping... notice how typical singaporean can actually be, when there is a sign stating 'clearance sales' the place is filled with people... haha... anyway, bumped into one of my poly mate, Micheal, he was doing a fashion show on stage... haha cannot blame he is rather handsome i must say... heez... didn't really got a chance to talk to him as he was rather busy, then next stop was in the heart of town, where i went (shopping) center hopping... again walking aimlessly... haha i guess that is what happens when u are shopping alone and have nothing to buy in mind i guess... When i passed by paragon, saw Singapore youngest busker on the sidewalk playing his jazz set... his name is Osthen, 5 this year, and man i have to say he is really good with the drums... stand around for awhile before moving off to DFS to look around...saw the burberry wallet that i was looking for.... but it cost $350, that is my month's pay... haha... guess i can see only but have put it on my 'wishlist' already heez... after that went to far east for more glancing before calling it a day.... took a gentle stroll back to ps to take the nel... leg was feeling the ache once i set down in the train... think i really did alot of walking today... heez... Might be boring but beats staying at home i guess... That is my day... plain isn't it... heez... Ming tian hui gen hao ba...i believe... ciaoz

Might be boring but beats staying at home i guess... That is my day... plain isn't it... heez... Ming tian hui gen hao ba...i believe... ciaoz

Loneliness.....
hello there... its back on ryan's weekly again, well i must say life is really not a bed of roses, there is bound to be high and low, and this is definately a time of low for me... Maybe its just me... but well i am experiencing some depression i guess... it comes once in awhile, usually will last quite awhile... haiz... life is really lonely, when u think they are there... they are not really there and that is when u really feel the sudden emptiness in life and all... Am i a pest? sometime or rather most of the time i wouuld ask this question, will i bother other people? am i making use of other people juz to make myself elss bored... will they mind? all this question have been going through me for the past 2 weeks... whenever i look at my phone glancing through the list to see who i could find, most of the time i would end up with none as all that questioning would just come to me....haiz... fan le... WHERE ARE U WHEN I NEED U??? WHEN I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO??? WHEN I NEED SOMEONE TO LISTEN??? WHERE... WHERe...WHEre...WHere...Where...where....
Alright, now back to the week... its been a pretty tiring week i must say, tiring in the sense there is more training then usual... that is because there is a paid performance for us next week... so everyone isi required to work extra hard for it as it is paid for... besides that there is also a number of other parades lining up so we are pretty much packed with activites for the coming couple of weeks... hopefully helps me to get past this stage fast.... we had a performance at botanic gardens last week.. ended at about 7 so left camp at about 8, got offday the following day, so went oout for a little mission with allison, karen and sherine, shall not go into details, caught "Swing girls" nice movie, dun mind watching again if there is a chance.. hehe... found the things we plan to buy and allison bought something already.... tues and wed is been drills drills and more drills, finally there is a new batch of trainess... looking at them reminds me of when i first entered the band... fond memories... Anyway, today did a POC at Istana, one arrival, fast deployment, by noon we are back in camp, then after lunch was more practise for the paid deployment, playing Olympic fanfair, how lame can it get... but anyway... job is job i guess... heez.. not sure what i am going to do for the next three day yet... guess its juz a step at a time then... thats all lah.... nothing much to blog le... Ciaoz... Oh yah... to all those having exams.. all the best... to all those that have already completed their exams... enjoy ur holiday to the fullest man...

Helo
hello guys... been awhile since i blog... can't really blame me yah... been in camp so haven't had access to the net... but anyway here i am to tell u guys about the week...
This week might be one of the most unbearable week i have in camp i guess... not because we were packed with things to do, instead, i was given nothing to do... yes, you are not reading wrongly, i had nothing to do this ENTIRE week... Reason being that there is a performance this sunday, for selected players, and i am not one of them, so we were told to do individual practise for the whole week as the selected few had their rehersal... I didn't waste the time this week too... i did quite abit of exersice and indivdual practise on my own... guai right... heez... After work will always be dinner then jogging with another bunkmate of mine... except of the last 2 days... i played soccer and badminton.... haha pretty healthy week i have i must say... Oh yah and i also went to catch Boogyman with Arthur, my bands clerk, hahah had alot of fun.... that was the only night i went out this entire week... other then that is slacking in camp...heez...
Oh yah was saying about performance... this Sunday (20th march), there will be a public performance in botanic garden by singapore armed forces band (A & B) at 5.30pm, popular pieces like Noah's Ark, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and many more will will played... there will be also a showcase of pieces composed by our very own... very nice... do come and support k.... free advertising lah... heez...
Hmm.... other then that i guess there is nothing much to blog liao ba... heez... mmy week is pretty boring lah... nothing interesting really happen... when there is i will blog k... meanwhile, keep on tuning into ryan's thought of the day!!! (being crappy =P)

Juz blogging after a long time
Hey peepz... its been awhile since i last blog hopefully u guys didn't miss me too much yah?? [bhb] heez... anyway i did blog a super duper long blog a week ago, but the computer sort of crop up before i can post it, and the entire blog vanished from my screen... was so pissed i didn't want to even blog till like now... Anyway its over, now feeling slightly better so being big hearted as i am, decided to give blogger another chance... heez..
Anyway, its been a month plus since i was posted to saf band A and life there isn't band i have to say... surprisingly done many parade in this short period of time, all sorts too... Seen their working style and have pretty much adapt to it already... Anyway will be having a parade this coming Sunday where we will march down orchard road starting from hereen to istana... hopefully everything will turn out will... Okok now abit about the week that have passed... well monday was alright, staffs were suffering from the monday blues so got abit of lecture during the inspection of uniform... after that did a few rounds of practise for the parade (on sunday)... wasn't really used to walking and playing at the same time at first, but as the time passed, things slowly got better... That afternoon we were "forced" to take halfday off as we had a parade on sunday, so we left like 2 plus, and since we had nothing to do, we went town for a little walk, i 'dated' xiu and angie for a movie, Went to walk around with my gang first before meeting xiu and angie... then went to get ticket for the movie "closer" . Not a bad movie i must say, confusing relationship but interesting... will not be really surprise if the scenes from the movie actually happens real life, anyway shall not talk too much into it juz in case you guys haven't catch it... won't wan to spoil the fun... Anyway after pool, had a few games of pool with them... haiz... wasn't my day (or i juz can't play), was trashed by the both of them... BIG TIME!!! haha... After my humble defeat, it was time to make my way back to camp, and got back at about 11 plus, fun but tiring day... Tuesday, was a normal day, but didn't have any plans after work so went to Northpoint and caught another movie with one of my batchmate Kris... heez Watched Howl's moving castle, was good, especially the music, but the storyling isn't as nice compare to spirited away though... after the movie went to walk around before returning to camp at about 9 plus 10... Wednesday, went down to SAFPU for rehearsals with the guards, and sort of saw what the actual thing is going to be like... its will be really good i can tell.. heez.. anyway after that, we got back camp for lunch then after the afternoon 'muster' (attendance taking), we had a little sectionals before calling it a day, fall out a little earlier then usual as we fall in early that day... was thinking of staying in bunk before recieving a call from xiu, to watch movie, haha msg her earlier that day for a movie but she was too busy so i tot it was called off, but i tot wrong, so i met up with her at J8 for "hitch", that movie is great... really funny, a nice movie to catch... Without realising it, i have already caught movie 3 times in 3 days... lolx... was practically broked man... lolx.. Thursday, work was normal, after work, went down to nyp for a practise and return my Altus flute (*sob gonna missed it...) It wonderful man, that they are no longer playing the same songs... and testing out new pieces was so fun.... make practise so meaningful... like a few pieces we played, like gypsy dance, egmont, and some parts of picture of an exhibition (or something like that)... looking forward to the next practise now judging from the pieces they are playing.. heez... well will have to see how lah.. next few weeks will be rather packed with parade and other stuff, not sure if i can make it down... will try though... As for today, friday, had another rehearsal at safpu this morning, then went we got back to camp, was fall out immediately, heez... shiok man.. lolx... anyway guess thats my week lah... haha know that alot of u might be thinking, is ryan in camp or in a chalet... lolx... well that is life but this is only the surface of things and its not really as simple as it seems, as we really have to earn our break, get wat i mean... anyway thats all i have lah... will be going on a movie marathon next week again, provided i get the money to do so... meanwhile have a meaningful weekend and enjoy it to the fullest!!! Cheers!!!

First Week after stay in!!!
Phew... finally Sinfonia is over and all our hardwork paid off as we recieved many positive feedback from the audience... I myself feels that there is still room for improvement... heez... but overall it was good... Not sure i am happy or sad that its finally over though... guess there is abit of both... Happy that nothing big goes wrong and all our hardwork for the past few months paid off, and sad maybe because its is already a memory i guess...
Anyway, the past week have been pretty busy both in camp and in nypsb, Camp is because 'work' have offically started for us and we have offically have to stay in for 2 months, a policy implemented by band A... so first thing of the week is to pack up our stuff and clean the bunk... its wasn't that messy compared to other bunks as we are sharing it with the specialists. Spent close to the entire monday cleaning up the place... and after work had to rush to nypsb for band, heez... its was Vday that day, so naturally, couples in the band didn't turn up, and i have learn something, that is NYPSB was born on VDAY hahaha, and we ended band slightly earlier to celebrate the band's 10th Anniverary heez... was fun. Afterwhich, rush back to camp where i have to spend the night.... didn't have a good first night rest as the place was really dusty and it caused my nose to be block the entire night... The following few days was full band prac as we prepared for a parade on friday (GOH) and also a botanical gardens performance coming March...was fun as i started knowing more people and all... after work was rushing to nyp for more final practise and stage setting... before going back camp after that... everyday reaching back in camp close to 12 mn... tiring i will have to say...
Friday, dragged my tired body out of bed at 530 in the morning, slept at close to 1 in the morning the previous night, super tired but still have to force myself as we have to prepare stuff for the parade later that morning... got into our No. 1 pants then bring the top to the white house. When we got there, we waited for the bus to get here and then got the ice box, and then staff made an inspection on everyone's uniform before heading off... When we got there, we immediatedly set up our instrument and join in the final reherasal before the guest arrive. A challenge was post to me as i was suppose to play without score and purely by listening to how the others play... luckly its was only a couple of songs so i managed to pull it off after some 'practise' when the entire event was over and we return to camp, we all got break for the rest of the day, and even get to fall out early... anyway, got back to bunk and manage to catch a few hours of rest before packing things to bring home for the weekend. and when we got dismissed, had to slop a super heavy bag as well as my performance uniform to nyp for final touch up before the actual thing... When i got there, all were preparing to change, so I too got myself changed, had to dump all my 'barang barang' aside... when all is done, did some final touch up and all before have some mini photo session... Then it was the actual thing, as i compose myself and shook close to everyone's hands (wishing them all the best) before stepping out on stage... there wasn't a full house but at least a 70% so it was still alright... the night went about rather smoothly and after the last piece, everyone was relief and happy as many positive responds was recieved... After that was so busy taking pictures with everyone... recieved alot of flowers from frens as well as members, so touched, they even presented token of appreciation before the concert to me and all the other alumini and guest players. But above all what really moved me was the flowers i recieved from adeline, fengcheng and waileng... i will not forget that moment.. thx gers... really appreciate it... anyway, afterthat had a little drink at mos burger then later accompanied sherine at S11 as she waited for her father to come fetch her before making my way home... was super tired but after a good shower managed to find so energy to do some packing of my stuff and also organising the gifts i have recieved before calling it a night at about 4 am... super tired... Oh yah its was also only when i reach home that i realised that i haven had dinner... my tummy complained so had to had some biscuit before going to bed... hahaha... Anyway that is a memorable concert indeed...
Today, didn't do much but really rest and relax at home, was thinking of dragonboat, but didn't go in the end as i have been straining my shoulder for the entire week and i feel it deserve abit of rest... Really missed home so decided to slack the day off at home... tonight not sure what i can do, but will be going to watch chingay (on tv) shortly... think this entry is long enough, guess i will stop here... Just some final thanks,Firstly, thanks to all those that have come and support our concert yesterday, do hope you guys have enjoyed yourself. Secondly, to all the musicians of nypso for giving me this oppotunity to perform with you, i must say its indeed an honor to have known and perform with you guys, had loads of fun and will be looking forwards to more of this oppotunities. Lastly and most importantly, Lao shi Mr. luk, for his relentless determination to make nypso what they are today and also all the support and guidance he showered upon me... 'Xie xie ni, lao shi' Thats about it, its a super long entry, hope u guys enjoyed it... below are some photos of cny spend at laoshi's place... enjoy...

Anyway short talk on yesterday or should i say the first night of cny, after i return home, rest for awhile then went out with herbert and dennes to meet navin before heading to li hao's place (at about 11 plus at night) sort of to bai nian, felt bad as li hao had to wake his parents up, sorry about that arh auntie. After that, they had a few games of 'soccer' on Xbox before commencing with 'King of Gamblers 2005' *haha... Believe it or not... the 'battle' took place till wee hours in the morning, and by the time i got home the sun was already up (about 7 the next morning)... spent 'chu er' (2nd day of cny in chinese) at home till late night again, before herbert came to do visiting, was suppose to go dennes place for majong, but was later cancelled because the host was not at home on time... so ended up go makan at lao pasa then went over to fullerton for a drink, before calling it a night.
Today, made a trip back to secondary school to visit, saw alot of old teachers, as well as new ones, actually more of new then old, even the principal have changed... haiz... anyway done abit of chit chat before heading to the bandroom as they had band prac... heez... enjoyable to watch the practise as it brings back alot of wonderful memories, with Mr. Lin taking them... was really good to hear them play again, heard their choice and set pieces for com, wasn't really good but wasn't that bad also, average i would say... was rather sad to see the condition of the flute though... heez.. non of my business liao.. lolx. after that return home and rot again.. haiz... been rather boring day i would say, but well that is life lah... relax while i can bah.. if not next week when work offically starts then cannot liao.. heez... GONG XI FA CAI !!!
Hey there pple, happy chinese new year, gong xi fa cai, xin xiang she chan, wang shi rou yi!!! heez... may the year of the rooster brings us all super duper good luck in all that we do...!!!
Yesterday was rather fun as i finally was able to book into camp in civilian clothings (like the seniors) then for the half days work, we spent choosing our beds and also cleaning up the toilet... haiz... got news saying that we are going to be 'sai kang warriors' for the next couple of months, hopefully the next batch coming in will be a big group... After work, met up with dennes then went to buy my CNY clothings, thought i spent the time at amk as my dad was coming to pick me up to go 'visit' my sister, after paying respect to my sister, i went of to queensway to meet up with the gang (herbert, li hao, navin and dennes) to do more shopping, spent abit but was worth it, after that, got home for my reunion dinner, food was fantastic, not sure if i was hungry, but well since when my mum cooking is not nice =P heez... After that was tv all the way, was waiting for plans to go out that night, got calls from geraldine and herbert to go out, herbert was planning things early but i couldn't leave my mum at home alone on CNY eve, so i decided to stay at home and be a good boy for once... sorry guys. As for geraldine, she jio me later but due to the lack of people going, she didn't call me back.. so i spent the night waiting away... Finally, when my mum call it a night as she heads to bed, me too retired to my room, and watch more tv before calling it a night, though wasn't the chinese new year eve i was expecting... but well wat to do...
Today, did what i had to do every year, had lunch before 'bai nianing'. First stop, my aunties place, maybe was too early, therefore there wasn't too many people, After exhanging words of greeting all of us sat down for chit chat... then about in the afternoon, drove off to my uncle's place and had a short session there before calling it a day and return home, Oh yah that was a short episode on the road today one the way back, someone ram my dad's car from the back, gave us all a fright, guess he wasn't paying much attention, but everyone was alright... that was first day, short, simple and sweet... Wonder if its the age, seems that CNY have become lesser of a deal each year... few years back, whenever cny is near, the festive mood will be here like a week or so before, this year, didn't really felt the festive mood till like yesterday... haiz... lao le ba i guess... Alright then.....i guess thats it for the new year then May everyone have a wonderful new year and an advance happy Valentine's Day to all the love birds out that......
To sum up, here is a photo of my boss child, Abigail Chloe 希彤 so cute.... born on 17 decemember 2004 sOOooo Cute
After that was tv all the way, was waiting for plans to go out that night, got calls from geraldine and herbert to go out, herbert was planning things early but i couldn't leave my mum at home alone on CNY eve, so i decided to stay at home and be a good boy for once... sorry guys. FINALLY TRAINEE LIFE IS OVER
YIPEE!!! after monday i shall be an offical member of the Singapore Armed Forces Band! Great man... after 2 months of hardwork, things are starting to pay off...
Been pretty busy with things over these 2 weeks, shall juz mention the main events if not i will be blabbering till kingdom comes... okok first, SAF Band annual Dinner and Dance held at Chevos, some club at jurong east, sort of a gathering for everyone to have fun and also a bonding session and sort of sum up to 2004 and whats ahead for 2005, was really fun as we laugh and enjoyed the night away... MC for the night was felicia chin, she is pretty and rather cute i must say, had a picture taken with her... cool huh... heez... anyway after that night was busy all the way, nypso had a band camp so i decided to join them as it also gave me an oppotunity to practise my exam pieces to wee hours of the morning without worries of waking anyone up. It was rather fun i would say, saw the seriousiness and dedication of the flute section for once... as they had sectional till late at night to master some of the more unfamiliar pieces like Disney on Parade (well done pple, i am proud!!!) left on sunday morning, was tinking of staying for late practise before breaking from camp, but as i haven't touch anything on my theroy that is to be tested on monday, i left reluctantly, sorry about that guys... Anyway, last monday and tuesday was the days that puts our 2 months of training to test as we had theroy, aural, and practical test on these 2 days respectively... After that, there was a huge sigh of relief as it was finally over... the following few days were spent preparing for our graduation (which is this coming monday), and also collection of our uniforms like our number 1, 2 and 3 rather excited about it... heez... that was about it about my past week (*summarised)
Yesterday, went to Jazz@southbridge with some of my band frens (nic, junwei and louis), sort of like a celebration for our gradutaion as well as juz chilling out after a long week, the place is fantastic, nice music (from live band) and atmosphere... (hmm... birthday celebration there perhaps... heez.. will see). Was really relaxed and really enjoyed ourselves... thx Nic for that suggestion... As for today, went for dragonboat training with my daughter, there was loads of people and alot of new paddlers... was kinda difficult for me as i was wedge between a couple of them and the one behind me had diffculity catching up so she kept hitting my ore, whereas the one infront of me, guessing was rather excited, kept treating me to water from the river... heez... but overall its still a fruitful training day... hope my daughter had fun...
Anyway, wayne was telling me there will be training tml for the serious paddler, don't think i can make it as i haven't got any clothing for CNY this year... guess this is the only year have done my shopping so late... think i am going to spent the entire day tommorrw shopping... see hu i can ask along... As for tonight, haven't recieve any news or plans so guess i am going to spend my evening at home i reckon...
Well thats all i have to say i guess... have a fruitful CNY ahead everyone... hope the new year will be a better one... And one last thing HAPPY BIRTHDAY XUE TING, who is turning 21 today... heez... may u be pretty and happy always...!!! MUACK
here is a picture of me with felicia, got couple look???... heez...

First combine practise
FINAL WEEK TO THE BIG EXAMZ!!! Tension and stress level have rise a whole new level as we edge closer to the exams...
Today we had drill as the exam for that is this coming friday so Staff thought we need that extra practise and i feel we really need it... after that short practise, we went for a short break before joining SAF band B for a short combine session... was kinda enjoyable being finally able to play band music instead of individual practise... The standard is not really as good as i expected but it was alright... we sight-read a few pieces before breaking for lunch, time really flies when we are having fun...
After lunch we had IP (on of the few left this week) and i tried to make full use of it... worked on my scales in the first half and in the second half, worked on the pieces, discovered i am not really very familiar with one of the piece yet... guess more work have to be done... heez.. that is about my day lah... heez... anyway today is LILI BIRTHDAY... heez take this chance to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILI heez.... okko thats all for the day lah... looking forward to band prac tml after work at nyp!!! Ciaoz...

Training day
Today training was fun, but didn't see many regulars paddlers, guess they were alll too tired to continue since they race this morning (a fund raising raise for the tsunami victims) my daughter was suppose to come, but she was late.... tried to wait for her but she juz didn't make it on time... sorry daughter... made u wait up the beach for me...
Anyway, as i was saying training was fun, managed to sort out things better as in breathing and technic, hopefully i can work my stamina up to cover greater distance... Once ashore, i met angie so after keeping the boats with the guys, i decided to forgo the beer and go for 'lunch' with her since i made her wait so long... settled off at Mac... After that was home, where i took a shower and rot off the rest of the day.... not really tired, juz bored with no plans.... did some self practise then was television all the way... heez.....okok shall not get into anymore details if not i will end up say the shows i have watched... heez... thats about it... ciao

Beautiful saturday
Hiya pple, beautiful saturday afternoon, had a really good rest after a rather txing 4 day week, thanks to Hari Raya that we had a 4 day work week, one more week left to the actual thing, wonder if i am really ready...thursday before leaving, Staff told us to our 'worse case situation' if u were to not pass the test... juz hope i can make it... a long and busy week ahead i predict....
Yesterday was fun as i went to do some window shopping with the band gang, (Sasa, ah tom, Xiu and Zhisheng) walked the entire day man, went shop-hopping and had lots of joke along the way man... heex..had both japanese lunch and dinner, lunch at yoshi, and dinner at ramen ten...both was not bad but wasn't really feeling (heez..considering my appetite) walked all the way till about 11 plus at night before calling it a day, was rather enjoyable but zhisheng was the overall spender for the day being the onli one buying stuff yesterday. Strangly i haven't bought anything yesterday (rare for shopping trips) guess its due to the bill i recieved for my december spending on my debit card i guess... hee... need to tighten the belt abit liao..
Well this afternoon going to training again... last week Wayne was asking if i am going to be a regular... i really hope i can be a regular and get my stamina back... Anyway, its a good way to destress from music issues lah... Alright lah...guess thats all for the day lah.... will have to go pack my stuff for training later le... shall blog again soon....Ciaoz PEACE!!!

Yet another monday
Its monday again... donno if i am happy or sad... anyway juz came back from a run not long ago... was suppose to to a leisure run but end up going long distance again... heez...
The weekend was pretty alright... sat finally went for dragonboat training after a long absence, so glad that everyone there still remembers me though there were many unfamiliar faces... saw Wayne (my boss), he looks rather please to see me and was tell me he was juz about to send me an email asking me when i will be down for a paddle again... its great to have friends like them... well, paddle was alright but really tough, was breathless after every 'sprint'... guess i need time to get back my stamina... well after that i had a little bbq (which the guys organized) and a few beer before dashing home to bath, change and head for vch for NTU's concert... When i reached there, i already missed the first song, but it was ok as i haven't miss that much... After the concert, the gang went for dinner before heading home... found a windy spot outside BK where we enjoy the 'gentle' breeze and our mushroom swiss. Afterwhich was home sweet home, was really tired man....
Sunday, woke up with a super duper sored back... hardly made it out of bed... the condition improved slightly after a little stretch, was suppose to meet karen, sasa and gang for the queensland university openhouse, but decided to stay home instead and let my back rest... Evening was bored so went for a short run then got home pack up a few of my things and watch Tiger Cup Finals, was interesting to see Singapore finally playing some 'quality' football man, making indonesia looking totally no threat, and as u can guess, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS (OLE OLE OLE OLE!~!~!~!~) heez.. oppz sorry was carried away there... then watch abit of zhong yi da ge di before calling it a night...
Today, as usual dad gave me a ride to work, then were suppose to have drills in the morning but was postpone to later in the afternoon as it was raining, thus we had IP, Sam taught me a thing or tow about playing man... he is a good chap.. heez.. thx alot... well gotta know all the guys quite abit over the pass few weeks and i must say they aren't too bad man... Drill today was conducted by a Drum major as we learn maze marching today, learning something new is always interesting... heez... enjoyed it very much i would say... shall not go into details as it will take a big chunk of the blog man... heez... after work went to do some shopping before heading home....
Well guess thats about it... oh yah... friday was a rouge with carol and gang, had lots of fun... details of it can be found at carol's blog.... pictures too... anyway gotta run, got some sacred things to be done.... Ciaoz....

Yet another week have passed
Yipee!! its a friday yet again.... though it signals one week closer to the exams but i am still happy as its the weekends... heez...
Today, in fact this week have been pretty sian, had a really 'dry' week... Anyway today was quite ok i have to say, had an aural test this morning... didn't do very well as its was really tough... guess my hearing is indeed weakening... need to buck up on that liao le... as for the paper which i did a couple of days ago... there is still room for improvements... so i shall work for it... Other than that we had nothing for the afternoon, staff was in a 'weekend mood' thus we ended up spending the afternoon at the soccer field instead... heez... was fun but i tink i pulled a muscle on my right ankle.... shouldn't be much of a problem considering i still manage to walk back... juz need to make sure it doesn't swell thats all... Anyway, should be going for a little drink down town later on... tml have training... yipee finally can go, after my injury, dragonboat is one sport i so look forward to man... heez... Thats all for the day, gotta go prepare for later le.... cya...

Sports day in Nee Soon camp
Its been a pretty fun day today i must say, surely if not the best time i had since i have entered the SAF Band. Its been fun but really shagged... This is why...
Morning, we had drill session, Staff Terry had a little talk with us to find out about our life there in camp and also tell us what is going to happen in the coming weeks before graduation. I am pretty fine with my drill, all left for me is theroy, aural and practical... After that went for a break before commencing on a little IP (individual practise), since the entire day was dedicated to sports, therefore i did not bring my flute, thus spending that time listening to some band songs and looking up some theroy...
After lunch is where the fun really starts as it was time for sports and games... there was a little change of plans, was suppose to go swimming but Staff insisted that we have a little game of captains ball (which was later changed to soccer) as a group getting everyone involved... its was really fun... and when its starts to drizzle a little, everyone paused game for awhile to get a drink and wait for the drizzle to subside (which took about or less than 5 mins). As the rest goes for 2nd half, My swimming gang (namely junwei, nic, andy, azmi and yeow mun) and i went for a dip in the pool to relax... went for a couple of laps and wash up to go back by 430...
After dinner (when i got home) i rest awhile and went for a run in the neighbourhood, was a short run, but was super shagged when i got home... guess its due to the many activities today... now u understand its a fun but shagged day.... anyway this is all i have... wanted to blog about band yesterday evening but guess today's entry is long enough... shall not say anything about it lah... its was ok in short (heez) alright then, off to watch my show le... ciaoz

First weekend of the new year
This is the first weekend of the new year... have to say its a pretty short week... (monday was off day, thus a 4 day week) the week went pass pretty quickly too i must say... starting to get the hang of things in band and also with my batch people...
Yesterday was a long day, its started off with drill where we went through the entire routine of the drill test... Staff say there wasn't problem with my drill only that i have to speak up louder during the reporting... Then the drill was interrupted as we were asked to go try on our No. 3 tops and No.1 and 2 bottom, feels great and look great in those bottom, can't wait to try the top too... heez... Anyway after the tryout we all went to get out things and went for out break and lunch... lunch is longer on the friday as the malays have to go for prayer... but i had physio (for my shoulder) at 1.30, hence went back to bunk to get change and went for physio... at the Medical center, i was introduced to several machines that will aid in the recovery of my shoulder. i was given specific instructions on how each machine works and how many reps to do, after that i was left on my own to work things out.... feeling great finally able to do things with my arms again... but there was a couple of machines that brought the ache into my shoulder... but i guess that is pretty normal, no pain no gain... Anyway my session ended at about 3.30 with a heat treatment to get my blood circulated... Afterwhich was back to bunk, change and headed back to the white house. Had about an hour of IP, of which i spend practising my scales. then was packup for home... Made a trip do to nyp, had promised to give sectionals to some of my fellow musicians while the rest have orchestra practise... first worked with them on their tone... after which had a combine sectionals with the clarinets... was a rather fun session as we worked all the way till about 10 pm... was tired but was a meaningful day spent for me....
Today, is the starting year's first weekend, spent it at home.... coz the weather have been so bad today making me reluctant to go out... was watching Singapore Vs indonesia first leg tiger cup finals juz now... Shockingly, Singapore played superbly and taking a 3-1 victory over indonesia... the one goal for indonesia was simply shouldn't be there if not for singapore slack of alertness in the very last minute, but nevertheless, we have a high chance of reviving cup title dream since 199. GO LIONS!!! heez... okok too carried away... haven plan much for tml...have a family dinner over at my aunts place tml evening so my evening is more or less occupied but really unsure about the morning... just take it as it comes i guess.. Next week will be yet another tough week.... and signifies one week closer to my exams (1st and 2nd or febuary or so i was told) Jia you to myself i guess... nights to all...

Happy New Year to all!!! as we have send 2004 away and welcome 2005 with open arms, I can't help but feel sad that we have to end the year with such a major disaster (Asia Tsunami).. As the rescue mission is still being carried out, my prayers are with the families of those people still missing and uncontactable and my condolences with those families who have lost their love ones in this unfortunate even... May God be with them through this rough times and bring them peace of mind...
Anyway, back to my blog... had a pretty quiet new year i would say, spent it over at zhi sheng place this year... No one is really celebrating (who would at this kinda times). Was waiting for the gang to arrive at zhi sheng place, coz i didn't went to meet them at tampines so i went to bedok myself, so happened that Eunos have cancelled their celebration and have transform it to a donation drive for the accident... Was kinda drawn to it as i stood around to listen to their talk... and also play my part in the drive.... After which, i stroll around the neighbourhood, waited for the guys for close to an hour, before i met up with zhi sheng to go get them... then we proceed to zhi sheng place... its was like chinese new year as the whole place was so "re nao" once we reach there... lolx... and since his relative was still working on the food, me and 3 more kaki worked on the majong table first... heez... Dinner was great, got a feeling we are at marina south... heez...then we watch movie after dinner... that is when things kinda tone down as its already passed midnight so we didn't wan to wake the neighbours... Watched kungfu hustle and polar express (pirated), managed to survive KFH but 15 mins into poolar express i couldn't make it and fall asleep, simply knocked out... haha... but at 4 plus i tink i woke up again... and we atlk awhile and gossip... then xiu also couldn't take it no longer so by 7 plus we took another short nap, still remember she hid behide my back then i didn't dare to turn... hahaha well there was an episode when we woke up an hour later but shall not go into details on that... then after which we dragged our tired bodies home...
Spent the entire new year day at home, did some packing of clothing to be donated to the victims of the tsunami... then at night when to catch movie with my gang at night... watch Kungfu Hustle (pirated see liao not that song) and Meet the Fockers, was really funny couldn't stop laughing... and that was my day...
Today is almost similar to yesterday, can say slacked at home the entire day too, doing nothing but watch television and surf the net. Its been raining the entire day making me reluctant of going out... hopefully its will be better next week as i really wish to go and do some rowing (dragon boat) next week.. haha oppz... sshhh... better not let my mum finds out about it.. hee... alright then, i guess thats all Hope everyone start the year right and may 2005 brings more adventures in your (as well as my own) lives....CHEERS!!!

As the days goes by...
Hmm as days goes by.... and i am adapting to the life in the Band things don't seem that bad after all. Going back after a super long weekend (sat, sun and mon, including tue mc 'leave' =P), dad gave me a ride to work as it was raining which gave me ample time to get to the white house and didn't have to rush like mad, thx dad...
Today was a rather simple day, mostly IP (individual practise, sad for me that i didn't bring along my flute) for the first half of the day, then in the afternoon after lunch went to the medical center to submit some form from the hospital and schedule for my physio... Was actually asked to undergo an operation for my shoulder, but that would have cost me my chance in performing for nyp in the concert as well as being posted out from the SAFband therefore i decided to turn down the offer and see how things goes... When i went back, joined the guys for drill lessons, practise on the drills that we are going to be tested... and i must say i am not bad in it liao... lolx... after drill lessons that day was over... heez life seems simple huh... well its not always like that, maybe its the holiday season that y its 'abit slack' after this week i guess its down to real business...
Yesterday band prac was quite fun... though i wasn't very satisfied with my own tone... but overall i can start to see improvement in the band, and i can also sense that lao shi's expectations are increasing after every practise... that is really great...well one thing is for sure... that is flute section have become stronger compared to when i first join the band... and everyone is practising really hard... really feels good to see such a thing happening... should say i seen its 'grow' in a sense... Just hope that this carries on and improve even more... Yawnz nothing left for me to blog liao.... juz wanted someplace to write some thoughts and what better place then blogger... heez.. alright cheers pple...

Xmas Weekend
HoHoHo... merry chirstmas... heez... know its abit late but since today entry is going to talk about my chirstmas so i tot i better send my greetings... better late then never i would always say...heez
Friday was a halfday working day.... practically rotting then 4 hours in camp (8 to 1230) had been told to do sectional at that very morning when i have not bring my flute as we were told the previous day we were suppose to have theroy lessons... anyway did a little reading of the scores anyhow...had it for 2 hours before the actual theroy lessons at 10, went through some papers before the day was over... and everyone make our move home and plans for later... was kinda bored therefore look for xiu, and we met up for a movie, "The Phantom of the Opera", very nice show i feel, was kinda moved by one of the scene, Xiu totally lost it seeing tears running down her chin non stop... before the movie we had swensens, been awhile since i had it... after the main course we even share a banana split too, was yummy. after the show we both went home to prepare ourselves as we are meeting later in the evening to go sasa's bbq at east coast. Brought 3 different alcohol for the occasion ( bailey's, tequlia and a coffee liqure which i haven't an idea wat the name is... heez.) finish the coffee one first as there was little left, was kinda good... then was tequlia everyone tried a shot, then had more when we play "zhong ji mi mah" with forfeit of "Truth, Dare, or Drink" its was really fun seeing some of them doing the Dare... couldn't stop laughing... Then Dennis came to meet up with us not long before we count down to christmas... after the countdown all of us happily left the pit for dennis's place... at his place we watch some tv before setting up the PS for a game of DDR, that is the first time i tried it... kinda fun, a good way to lose weight... to make things more interesting, we (Sherine and I) started taking shots of tequlia till we can hardly stand straight... was really funny looking at sherine drunk talk... then close to morning we all took a nap, i completely knocked out once i lied down... was kinda drunk but was really tired... woke up on Xmas morning with a sore back and neck... but recovered after a little stretching, had breakfast with dennis before making my was home for a shower and another nap...
That evening, i met up with xiu and sherine for a walk in town, decided to give breeks another chance, this time around its wasn't that disappointing as the service was better compared to the last time. Was thinking of catching a movie but was not successful as there wasn't a slots, so we did some window shopping before calling it a day... and that is Xmas day
Sunday i am a guai boi stay at home the entire day, did some self practise on my flute then in the evening went over to my uncle place for Xmas celebration, sort of a family gather... not sure why, but it doesn't seem as fun as it use to, maybe its because i have grown up and no longer that playful, got home at about 12 plus that night after the gift exchange...
Today, well have day off (courtesy of SAF band), when all my fellow buddies from BMT have to report back, i am slacking out enjoying the day away... Well did something quite fulfulling today, went back to school and gave sectional to my juniors (Adeline, Waileng and Feng Cheng), haha the session went for 3 hours and we only went through one piece of music, warm up and tuning methods... hopefully they found it useful, then i met up with Sherine and we all went to Jalan Kayu for some prata before going home... sherine brought camera so we had quite a fun time taking pictures... heez...
Anyway, this is my Xmas weekend, short and sweet... hahaha next week is New year... that will be a new chapter.. for now, juz wanna wish all a belated merry xmas and an advance happy new year!!!

Nice night out
First weekend ever since i have graduated from BTMC and i am loving it... unit life is indeed different from tekong... the things are so much older here and the rules and regulation is indeed different around here... Oh yah, i got selected into the Singapore Armed Forces Band for those who didn't know... life might seemed easy as there isn't stay in but well, it isn't really much wat it seems like... life there can be really stressful and i am still trying to cope with the pressure there... hopefully it will be better in times to come...
Anyway, enough about camp... now back to my weekend... yesterday meet up with "the girls" (sherine, xiu and sasa) in town to do some shopping... since i haven't had any plans so i decided to join them... we meet up at Somerset mrt station and then proceed on to town to look around... Cineleisure seem rather quiet... maybe it because its too early in the day (about close to 1 pm)After taking Neo prints at cine, we settled down at Breeks (taka) for lunch was quite a "waiting session" rather then lunch session, first we waited like for 10 mins for our seats, then when we are seated, make our orders and waited for the food to come... when we are done, we still had to wait for our bill as there is a problem with their machine... service there is seriously not up to the standard to be operating in taka... i will still visit breeks as the food isn't that bad but will think twice about going to that branch again... After that, we did more looking around of shop and gossips along the way... then Sherine had to leave to meet her other fren in town, so its left with the 3 of us shopping around... went to look around at levis and since Xiu was trying on some jeans, i decided to try on some myself... haha... Suprisingly, i was able to get into some of the jeans and look kinda good in it as well... (feedback from Xiu and Sasa...thx =P) In the end, Xiu and i got one pair of jeans each and i even got a wrist pouch as we spend over 180 bucks... after there, it was about 7 plus in the evening, and Sasa had to leave to his grandpa's place to celebrate his bday... so me and Xiu continued our shopping till about 8 plus before i met up with herbert and dennes for a movie "National Treasures" and Xiu left to meet her frens for plans that night... the movie was superb i would say... at least i feel the storyline was very nicely written... after the movie its was time to make our way home as herbert didn't had his car... Reach home at about 12 mn then did some last min "homework" before calling it a night
Today, woke up, then do some packing of those unwanted documents and did a little practise on my pieces... been rather relax... Tml is the start of a new week... wonder wat is install for us... this coming wednesday i will be ic for the day... will be looking forward to it... hopefully i dun mess it up... alright then guess that is all i have... next week is Xmas, so looking forward to it... haven have anything plan out yet... but will try to tink of someting in time to come... Cheers...

today is yet another day
Haven't been updating my blog ever since i have entered the army... too busy, guess not but too lazy, DEFINATELY *grinz
Well today went town with my best friend herber, who went for his medical checkup for army (wahaha...finally its his turn...) had sushi at sakei (since its buffet hour so wat the heck =p) both of us hammered about 30 odd plates before calling quits... might seems alot u might tink, but well we used to be able to hammer at least 40 plus, jus the 2 of us believe it or not... lolx.... so after a satisfying meal, we went to do some window shopping around HMV and paragon... then i when to get my seiko watch fixed... after the professional looked at it, i have decided to get a full maintenance on it... total up to 98 bucks (abit steep but well wat to do... its my watch)... The rain clouds then slowly settled in town, and withot warning, it started raining cats and dogs... lucky we are fast runner, if not we would de "chicken in the stew" (luo tang ji in chinese)... since stuck in cine with nothing to do, me and my buddy decided to catch a movie juz to pass time... was suppose to meet princess irene to get my birthday present too...so yah... watch "After the sunset", not bad a movie... abit of laugh and alot of hot babes... heez.. then once we are done we headed home, a short trip down town but a fruitful day spent (at least better then rotting at home right...)
Once home, had a light dinner, then took a break before going for a run around the neighbourhood. Not sure if i have fully recovered from my fever, still felt abit weak in everything i did... and getting breathless rather easily... hmm starting to feel abit worried... Anyway, was extremely cautious of my right hand, as there is always a twitch of pain if i swing it too quickly or hard... haiz.... i am so weak after i had dislocated my shoulder.... how i wish non of these have ever happen, and i have past out from camp a healthy person... at least dreams of command skool is still within reach and i won't have so many things to worry about.... but its all too late to say this now... juz have to take a step at a time i guess..... that all for today then... band pract tml, likely to be the last (depending on the unit i am dispatched to) hopefully i would enjoy it then.... Nites to all... *MUACKS

Doctor visits
Hello pple, its me blogging again.. not feeling very well so tot i keep this short and sweet...
Today had to wake up earlier as i have a medical appointment at CGH for my shoulder... LiLi, was kind enough to accompany me (heez thx arh) met her at simei mrt station before heading for the hospital, was constantly rushed by the medical staff as i guess someone before me cancelled their appointment so they allow me to go earlier... was told to change to the robe... now i noe how girls feel when in a skirt... airy man... heez... *blush*. Oh yah haven tell you guys what the check up was all about... its known as the MRI (don't ask me the long form, i cannot remember... =P) its sort of a scan to see the level or damage that have been incurred to my ligements and muscles around the shoulder..Before the actual scan, i have to undergo a minor "surgery" where the doc insert a needle in the middle of the joint and insert so liquid to enlarge to area so that its will be more effective to see even the finest of damage... its was quite a scary moment, as i actually witness the entire process from the monitor showing my shower and then putting someting in it... at the fluid was inserted, there was a strange feeling like my hand is going to dislocate itself again... that feeling is and will always be in my head man... when i left for the scan... i didn't quite dare to move that shoulder of mine and did watever the doctor asked me to do... The MRI machine is a giant magnetic, they first placed someting on my shoulder then straped me to the bed, they even put earphones one my head so that i can listen to music while the scan commence (the process is rather noisy). The entire process took about 30 mins... poor lili have to wait for me (so paiseh) after that, we left, by then was time for lunch so i treat lili to lunch as a sign or gratitude. and since lili have plans in the afternoon, we walked around the mall or tampines till it was time for her to go, after that i loitered alone for awhile before returning hope to take nap... was super tired... wonder if its was the medication they insert...
When i woke up, about 7 in the evening, wasn't feeling very well, feeling cold on the outside but really heated up on the inside... can sense a fever coming up.... hopefully tonite after medication will feel better tml... haiz.... guess that is all for "the advantures or Ryan Koh" so stay tune to the next episode, same channel, donno wat time...!!! muaHAhhahhaHAH =P

POP lo!~!~
Yipee... my very first day as the status private... the feeling is juz so strange. after 4 months of training, all for this very day.... all was worth it...
Yesterday was a tiring day man! really a test for everyone, as they had walked for 24km, they started from 7 pm of 1 december (MINE BIRTHDAY) and walked all the way till 4am the next morning. its drain off every ounce of energy out from everyone man.... on the last day, everyone was allowed to sleep till 10am and were to do their finally packing and area cleaning of the place before getting ready for the passing out parade. i was up at 8 yesterday morning, when everyone else was fast aslp, i was too excited to slp so i took a shower and started packing my stuff. as i was packing, i constantly looked at the bunk as i know that was the last time i was going to see it... after packing, i still have lotsa time to pace around the place to take a look at the company for the last time...and as everyone else slowly got up and prepared for time, i spend the time taking pictures and all.. its was very fun... and once done, we brought all our stuff downstairs and to the holding area, before going for our last meal there. After lunch we went back to companyline where OC gave his speech... its was really a touching moment for me, as we show our heart felt thanks for out OC, then he gave out some awards before we we called to fall in and head to the parade square for our big moment... god was kind enough to have gave us good weather (there was a quick shower before that), but was kinda hot. When we got to tekong parade square everyone lined up and waited for the big moment to enter. And as the drum beat of the band starts, everyone marched smartly into the parade square. once in there, everyone stood smartly as a series of events takes place. The heat was so intents that quite a number of them fainted. One of my friend fainted forward and bruised himself so badly, hear when he was carried out there was blood all over his mouth... scary. but the show must go on..... and there was a march pass before the offical parade was over... then we rushed off to put our stuff and prepare for the second half of the parade.... we got line up in the parade and they invited out parent forward to put on our cap for us... after the parents were as to leave the parade square, they announce us offically privates and we tossed our cap into the air to signifies our graduation, and we hugged each other with joy, some were even in tears, i am sure they are tears of joy... then as we waitied for our time to leave the island, we took quite a number of photos man... with the Sirs, sergents, and fellow mates... its a moment to be remember forever man... As we get out bags and were lining up to get on board the ferry, memories of when i first step on that very same ferry terminal waiting to serve my NS and all the wonderful moments i have spent one that island started rushing to me... and i must say i did felt my eyes watered... cannot really believe i am saying this, but tink i am really gonna miss tekong, a place that have brought me so many memories and started my jouney as a NSF...
Life is unfair man
All i thought was 2 more weeks and i am through with BMT, i guess i was wrong... My worse fear have finally come true... i am about to be place Out Of Training (OOT) haiz.... WHY ME! i have been asking myself...
Yesterday mark the end of my longest weekend since entering the army, and also signals 2 weeks before Passing Out. Went for my specialist check up yesterday, and its seems that everything was fine so i return to camp sometime around 2, then i went to the Medical Center to endose my MC and there was my worse news ever... the MO decided to put my OOT due to my condition and deem me unfit to carry on with training.... the news hit me like i got smashed real hard against the wall man... its was devastating.... I went back to company line told my sir about it. he too was very displeased as there wasn't anymore major events left and we are so close to passing out, he ssay he would try to do someting about it... meanwhile i got mc to say at home to nurse my arm... haiz.... who would have guess a dislocation could wipe off all i have done for this past 3 months... this is insane, thinking about it makes me insane... Haiz....just praying really hard now that my sir is able to change the status thingy... and i can complete BMT successfully.... *sigh

Wonderful weekend
Helo.... tot i update my blog a little, since i can onli do so once a week... heez.. Had a wonderful day yesterday man.... haven enjoyed myself like that for awhile man... let my "hair" down and have fun *heez...
Yesterday after book out, got home did some laundry before meeting sherine in town for a movie. Went to catch Ladder 49, and i must say its worth every single cent spend man, serious a good movie to catch, very touching, even got me on the verge of tears... after movie, we met up with Zhong Xi, and went for window shopping, and snap a few neo prints, haha haven't took that in ages, and its rather amazing how those machines evolved to be... (haiz... lao le ba... heez...) we walked from one shopping mall to another, basically for me is to update myself on the latest trends and stuff... walked into a shop and saw a nice pair of shoes which i like, my team of "fashion professionals" also said it was nice, but i decided to wait for more "professional advise" before making the decision, so we carried on window shopping, and looked for shoulder support (as i had dislocated my shoulder), but it seems that a shoulder support is way expensive, therefore i drop the idea and decided to go for traditional bandage instead. When the evening sets in, everyone was pretty much gathered as we were joined by Xiu and Dennis... haha its been a long time since i last saw Dennis, and he is still as siao as ever... all of us have diffculty settling on where to eat (either there was a long quite or its not of out liking) but finally settle down at a resturant at Paragon. Had a contented meal (courtesy of Mr. Dennis... thx) After that, we went back to the same shop and after more professional advise. i bought that part of shoes.. heez... we then went for a little sip at tcc in cine. and chat the night away, Xiu brought camera so we took a few pics as well... Drinks was on me, coz its not nice to let Dennis pay for everything all the time, was feeling kinda bad already... and we call its a day as many have curfews, so we parted and dennis gave us (me zhongxi and sherine) a ride home. Its was truly and awesome day man... enjoyed every bit of it... thx guys
Heez... today iis a sunday again, going back camp tonight... haiz... with an injury, life is going to be pretty slack, as i couldn't participate in many of the event, especially a once in a lifetime event (army confidental, so not going to say), but well the good thing is that there is going to be 4 more plus week to POP... have to try losing another 5 to 7 kg in 30days.... shall try my best then.... Anyway that all i have for the weekend i guess.... hopefully there will be more nice weekend to come... heez... Cheers.....

One month and One week to passing out!!!
Hey there pple, its me again, know its been awhile since i last updated my blog... and i really have to apologise to those that have been supporting my blog for so long, for that long wait, but well i am in the army, so there isn't much time every weekend to do this.
Its been 2 months (since enlistment) that i am in the Singapore Armed Forces. The feeling of being in the army so far have been not bad, slowly feeling that i am really growing from a boy to a man of many responsibilities. Guess its really true to say that in army, a person indeed do grow in character. Apart from changes personally, i have also seen changes in many other pple from my platoon, from timid guys to brave young man, from hopeless cases to those that aims to go command school such as SISPEC and OCS. Indeed i have to say its been a wonderful experience so far. As almost all major event (like field camp, SIT test, etc) is over, this last few weeks is basically to select those suitable for command school, and preparing our bunks and stuff for the next batch of Gryphon Warriors, to embark on this once in a lifetime experience. What lies ahead i am not really sure, still have 20 odd months as an NSF before getting back my pink ic. will i be in command school, or juz a man running around the unit i am not sure, though i personally really wish for saf band, but wat lies ahead i am really not sure. but for one thing i am sure is that i will try my best in watever lies ahead. As the saying goes, days goes by whether you are happy or sad, so why not make it a happy experience. haha seems to have been saying alot of craps. well at least better that writing a whole lot of things about my daily life in field camp right. (though i did consolidate everything in a diary). Currently, my vision for the rest of my BMT is to enjoy watever i do, whether or not i am going to pass my IPPT is no longer important to me, as long as i know i did my best i am alright. Another is to lose more weight within this month, so that even if i go unit, i would have an easier time controlling it. Other than that i guess is to spend quality time with all my mates, sergeants and sirs i guess... donno if we will have any chance of meeting them again once out of BMT.
Guess thats all the things i have to say man.... One month plus to passing out... really counting down the days man.. heez... In the meantime, study hard all my frens who is going to have your exams soon, and do take care of yourself, miss you guys alot and JIA YOU WO!~!~!
