Shoo haze.... GO AWAY and DUN COME BACK!!!!

Its strange as usually at this time of the year as monsoon creeps closer, you will expect more rain, but these year, its seem delayed again, and when you need it most. The Haze is really crazy now man... PSI last read 150 before i came online, and when you looked out the window... its just a misty screen of smoke man... really terrible.


Whats really crazy, must be going down for a paddle despite this stupid weather i suppose. Well, was kinda reluctant to go when i looked out the window this morning. (when PSI reads 130). But then again, i promise Angie, who is gearing for a paddle for ages, that i would accompany her down since this is one of her rare occasion where she gets an off day. So yeah, as the afternoon came, the PSI dipped to about 90ish, so i just went ahead. Despite the haze, a commentable crowd still turned out for training. From a distance, saw a very familiar back, wasn't really sure till that figure turned and there he was, Kam, haha was really taken aback man, coz he was suppose to be in Hong Kong and yeah... was really much of a suprised... but its good to see him thou after such awhile. And he brought along a suprise too, he was back for an ex-colleage and senior of mine, Veny's wedding. I was really thrown off when he broke the news to me... haha it really came so suddenly to me... haha alot of suprises for one training.


Alright now to training, Yong paired me up with john up front to learn pacing. I sure have lot to learn as i seem to rush the tempo abit but i actually feel I am pretty alright... but i guess he was compromising to my pace most of the time, which allow me to feel that way. I won't say training was really tough, but for the fact that the weather wasn't wonderful, it worsen that already tough training. We paddled past Shears bridge and into the domain of the esplande, and i tell you, the view was a screen of smoke man... can hardly see the high-rise man...


After training, stayed awhile longer for a little chit chat session with the rest of the gang, allowing Angie chance to know more of the people there as well. Suprisingly, she seem to blend in better than i do... haha I guess i just lack the vocal talent like her... Afterwhich was home, got really sinful for the fact I let greed got the better of me, bought alot of food from the supermarket... and I FINISHED IT ALL UP!!! now I am bloated and sinful man..haha oh well, hopefully tml will take away some sinfulness from me... hehe... dreading the run thou, in this kinda weather... but den again.. live as to go on i suppose...

It just got worse....

OMG, I am peeling... haha as in my beautiful tan is peeling off and patches are developing on my arms and back... haiz... and to think i got the nicest tan... guess nice things really don't last. And thats not all... the stitches i got (for my wisdom), they are loosening up... one actually got so bad that i can actually feel the hole in the corner of the mouth... now i have to rinse my mouth so badly to make sure no food particles get stuck in there...

Today, thought was gonna spent my entire mooncake festival alone. (oh yah Happy Mooncake Festival to all, hehe abit late, but better late den never yah...) Anyway, its not like really celebrate, but just that a season spent alone is not really my style... Thank god Azre asked me out ring hunting with him... haha thx again man.. hehez, well the ring he got was really nice, haha his friend didn't got the wrong person to go ring scouting for him important ring lah. The one ring that rule them all, at least for his life that is, coz its an engagement ring... hehez... Anyway afterwhich, was gossips gossips and more gossips lor... hehez... thats the enjoyable party about out with azre i suppose... get to hear all the interesting stories that i used to get first hand when i am still in camp... but unfortunately i will now only have to get out for azre... but better so, coz he make them sound so interesting... hehez...

The more I walk, the more the things in the shops enticed me... hehez... now i know the reason i don't do shopping that much anymore, The more i see those thing... the more they call out to me... "Buy me! Buy me! You Need Me!" they say... hahaha well at least thats all i say... but lucky my reminder is always my wallet.. which is empty... and i refuse to use my cards... coz i will most DEFINATELY go crazy using it... haha LIMIT is all i have to do... and waiting... hehez...

Well, its been a not bad day, if not for the haze, the day will be perfect as we found a couple of spots that we can actually chill, but was acutally outdoor, so yah... we won't want to be sniffing soot and went for a little ice cream indoor instead... after that is back home....

The hole in the mouth is really worrying me abit.... apart from the slight swell that comes with it... hope nothing goes wrong... Tml, dragonboat... haha was suppose to rest... but i guess both my mind and body is unwilling to rot at home on a sat i suppose. hopefully the haze can clear abit by tml... hehez... well thats all den... Welcome to another edition of "GROSS!"

In the last edititon, (which is months ago) where i sliced my thumb on the side of the boat while paddling... haha that not really a pretty sight... well today's edition is on Wisdom... For those that didn't know, I just got my wisdom tooth extracted yesterday, and now nursing from abit of the pain as well as the swelling... Yesterday i was seriously looking like Bobdog, and i saw my old self way back in secondary school man... the one that i dread... Thank god it the swelling have subsided.

2 year den and now.... NO CHANGE!!!

Tommorrow, the day where I get my tooth extracted, got many bad feedback on it so far, on the pain, the swell. Its actually making me dread it already... but i guess its good to get rid of them lah, would cost so much to remove it after army...

Was looking through my redang pictures of both 2 years ago and the recent... there is one i did comparison... and sadly not much have changed.... haha here they are...

haha the background is the same... only changes in the clothes... and pehaps the hairstyle... nothing else have changed in 2 years.. haha good and bad i suppose...

Nice trip do comes with a heavy price....*sob*

Ladies and gentlemen... Its brings me great despair to announce this news to you... I too cannot believe it can happen so quickly... but now that it happened, there is really much work to be done to reverse it... Here it goes, (*take deep breath) I, Ryan Koh, have just gained another 1 FULL KG, that makes me one more kg away from my goal, and snowballing to total weight needed to be lost to 7 KG!!! its a tragedy, a disaster!!!! Desperate measure is already been imposed to prevent further tragedy from happening... I DECLARE A STATE OF EMERGENCY UPON MYSELF... thus if you guys plan buffet or any big meal gathering... can count me out for the time being till i get myself sorted out... Thx

Enough on that tragedy... now to my redang trip. For all those that didn't know, yes, i was back at redang (for the 2nd time), nothing much have change, the beautiful beach, more more tea inn, all still nicely intact... Some nice scenic views...

And this time round with me on this trip is the 2 pretty ladies, Sherine and Adeline. Below the last time was with my polymates, this time too, but just from my band... hehe...

This trip was particularly enjoyable as we made a few new friends, mainly from snorkeling.... the pics are abit big so i am just posting only a few... hehez... the rest, well i guess its only for those that went to admire lah... hehez... sorry...

Introducing from the top, the 2 malay gentlemen, "Z" & "Leg", our snorkeling guide for the ladies, thx to them, the ladies get to see many interesting in the sea, sharks, turtles, etc... and on the bottom we have Anson, our underwater photographer... thou its a pity getting to know him only on the final night of the trip but nevertheless he helped us took a number of nice pics as well... so yeah... thx guys for all the hospitality...

Yup... i guess thats about it... i leave with a nice pic of sunrise i took on the final morning there... thou its cloudy, we were lucky for that brief moment the sun was out.... here you go...
