Paid performance

helo pple... something is wrong with msn today, seem to have some sort of connection problem... really fustrating a for person that loves to talk on msn like me [are they pulling an april fools prank too, i wonder???]... but anyway have to bear with it... won't give up trying though...

Today reported to work in the afternoon as our performance was at night, so can wake up without the disturbance of an alarm clock [haven't done that in a long time le]... then had a couple of bao [cha siew bao] for breakfast before accompanying my dad and mum to visit my sister...then after that was suppose to go lunch with them but due to the lack of time, i have to rush back to camp first... was pouring halfway, thx to my dad who provided me with the umbrella... Anyway, got to bunk, got change and assembled at the whitehouse, had some last min rehearsals and waited for the bus, Once we got to the westin stamford, there was rehearsal straightaway, so we practise how we are going to march in and all the songs and stuff, so lame i must say, felt pretty redundant because i felt we were very out of place (doesn't suit the event i mean), but have to go through it, wat to do... its a paid performance... After multiple rehearsals finally break for dinner, where we rest in the lounge and savour dinner delivered to us from nee soon camp.. heez... after dinner, rot awhile more till about 7.10 before the event starts, and we got dressed up and prepared ourselves... we entered with an impact, almost making those sitting along the side deaf... heez... the people was first shocked to see us... but then slowly, roaring applause after awhile for the award winners that followed behind us... [that was our purpose, to lead the award winners]. After all of them was on stage, we made our exit with another song and that was it... a performance less then 10 mins, and we have prepared like for 2 weeks!! hahaha... after that we packed up... and return to camp.. by the time got back to camp its was 9 plus, all my plans of going out after performance was popped... so got home and be the good boy that i am... =P, And that pretty much covered my day, short yet fruitful day... heez..

Finally, just want to wish everyone the best of health, know that the weather haven't been very good recently and everyone is more pron on falling ill, so be extra careful with the things you eat and do... yah... nothing is more important than your own health... Stay healthy and happy Always...

Busy week

Hey there... surprised to see me here??? heez... well i am here because tommorrow need not assemble early so kinda miss my bed... so yah i am home... heez...

This week is totally different from last, its rather busy i would say... the entire weekend is packed with activities... so we have spent the entire week rehearsing for the events... first up tml, a paid performance for some insurance company dinner... (not allowed to tell which one, so go find out for urself).. pretty lame performance i would think as it is a 3 mins performance but we have to work for the entire day... sian man... but i guess people assume SAF bands to be of good standard i guess.. haha.. anyway the other event we have been busy with for the past week is COG (Changing of Guards) taking place is Sunday, will be main again, meaning marching down from hereen to istana again... haha though i have done it before but its always very exciting to do this... heez... Anyway since i mention it... if u happen to be in town on Sunday around 3.30pm, just pop by to watch or even look for me k... heez... the starting off is at beside hereen, close to Partyworld ktv... very easy to spot... okok enough advertising le... back to blogging... have been engaging in sports frequently, even though the hectic schedule, usually find strength after work to play badminton with arthor and gang, Monday was the most siong, played like 2 hours of badminton then at around 9 plus, went for soccer game with the rest till close to midnight before we stopped... was a direct knockout that night... haha... oh yah, also watched jian gui 10 (the eye 10), was not bad, funny at some parts, yup u heard me correctly...funny, but some parts or should i say most of the movie kept me sitting at the edge... thinking of it still gave me the creeps at time.. not bad a movie to watch, but not for the weak hearted... heez... hhmm... other then that i guess i pretty much covered what i have been doing this week... oh yah... recieve my bills this week... haiz... burned 1/3 of my next month pay le... bills are up till 100 plus... argh.. there goes my plan to get my things...haiz... sadz man... anyway ming tian hui gen hao... i hope.. ciaoz..

Irish Fair 2005

Helo everyone... heez... as you can tell my mood have been better since the past few days... tink staying in camp too much have gave me the 'in camp depression' i guess... heez... thx to all those that have help kai dao me... hor Sherine... heez.. thx arh.. anyway juz wan to tell everyone i am feeling much better now... heez..

Yesterday had alot of fun after a long time... really literally let my hair loose and had fun... heez... i don't have long hair so only can let my hair loose and not let my hair down... heez... Anyway back to topic... in the morning, went back to St Gabs to watch their progress and preparation to the coming SYF... serious have doubts on them but well juz have to wish them all the best... the teacher in charge, Jerffery Chan, still never failed to give me a grand intro to the juniors... telling them then great history of how i got up to stage of syf on crutches on 1999 syf where we got gold... thx arh Mr. Chan... Initally thought i might be able to play along with the band... but ended up i only got to listen to their performance... though abit disappointed not having the chance to join in... but nevertheless, felt good watching some talents emerging from the next generation... heez... talk like majiam i very old liao... heez.. After band pract, went home to put my flute, had lunch and head off to SIR building to collect my passport... was actually tinking of going for a paddle, but looking at the weather, i thought otherwise... ended up meeting angelina, the accompany her for worship meeting (meaning she had her meeting while i sat at a corner waiting). Once done, we met up with a couple of angie's frens, Jessie and Pei shan, and went for subway while waiting for pei shan's fren... ah boon, alan and dennis... heez... so cool to know so many new people in a day... they are friendly pple so had a nice time chit-chatting with them over dinner... Once done, we all went to the Irish festival 2005... its an open air thingy, so was kinda worried at first as the sky didn't seem really pleasant... however heaven was kind on us and it juz drizzled occasionally... we settled down at a mat infront of the stage... and each have a Guiness draft (which comes with our entrance fee)... 'Slainte' we all shouted before drinking, an irish word for cheers... taught by pei shan, who had been to ireland for attachment for 4 months... the place was rather calm at first... people still not daring enough to dance and all... (being singaporean) but as the night passed and booze start to set in... more and more pple started to dance and had fun... was really interesting to watch too... Heez.. together with pei shan and gang... we too join in the fun later that evening... there was a Q&A and i actually went up and won myself a limited edition Guiness home phone... so cool... We partied till like close to midnight, and had quite abit to drink since drinks are like 5 buck a drink...was good... we easily cleared up to 20 cups i guess... after that... i had to leave that group as i was going to meet herbert and dennes for supper... so i parted off with them at about 12 plus and meet up with herbert... went all the way to changi for nasi lemak.. then drove to our hang out to catch abit of airplane before calling it a night... was indeed an enjoyable weekend... really enjoyed myself to the max.... thx pple for everything... heez.... alright then i gues s thats all for the week ba...

After all this... just recieved a terrible news that one of my frens mum have passed off... sad to lose a love one... the news came suddenly so i am still sort of in a lost... but will be going to her wake later before returning to camp... live is so unpredictable... juz hope she can take it easy...

here are some shot of the irish party 05
