Huiting birthday celebration

Da Jia wan an... yesterday was a truely boring day, and today, is so packed i am wondering where i should go... haha... Oh yah first things first.... i hereby wanna wish huiting a happy 21th birthday in advance, the actual day is 17th, but she is having a bbq and because of somethings i could not attend... so sorry about it...

Yesterday was indeed a most boring day man... no plans no nothing, truely understood the meaning of rotting at home man... thank goodness there isn't any mushroom growing on me... Could say was online the entire day... downloading songs and listening to music... Finally put the computer to rest at about 8 plus... (need to rest my eyes as well)... then was tv... feeling really trapped at home, i decided to go outside for a breather... walked to the bus stop, and tinking to myself i would talk the first bus that comes my way... bus 53 came so my destination was Bishan J8, When i got there... the first ting that came to my mind was movie, so without second tot i went straight to the top level a bought myself a ticket to the movie "Catwoman", as there was some time before the show starts, i went to the glance around at the shops, then visited the toilet before entering for the movie... was not a bad movie overall, but there was load of other "special effects and sound system" added in the mids of the show... one was light from the super techo handphone, that flickes like some disco light throughout the show... special sound effects came from children situated at the side and infront of me.... wasn't really able to enjoy the movie but beared with it anyway... After the show, last bus for 53 have already left... so i tried my luck at 156, lucky i manage to catch the bus, if not mid night charges is not going to be cheap... heez... got home, there was a horror film on tv "Jason Goes to Hell", was not bad but the lame thing is that Jason never seems to be able to die, dun understand y... heez... then its was the live coverage of the opening ceremony to Athen Olympics 2004, truely a grand event, and is such a success... by the time the entire thing ended, it was 5 plus in the morning before i finally put my head down to rest...

This morning, woke up at about 11 plus, took my shower and wash up before heading to skool for band, was contridicting weather to go for my last dragonboat session or band, but went for band instead... wasn't really prepared for training today and tinking i will have all the physical training i need in a few days time, made me more determine not to go for training... heez... When i reached there, lao shi was not here yet... so i got my flute out and practise togther with the rest outside, managed to run through fantasy variation once before lao shi camed.... there wasn't any warm up today, and we started off with the usual "Swan Lake". Lao shi was getting stricter and i could tell from everyone face that they are all under quite abit of stress, in the end everyone still got a piece from lao shi (in different tones) After band prac, went with the guys to play a few games of pool at amk before heading off to attend to some matters, now safely home, later thinking of going for a little game of midnight soccer with my frens... still thinking though... was thinking of going for the bbq, but looking at the time, even if i go, it won't be for long, so didn't in the end, sorry once again arh hui ting... Alright...guess thats all i have for the day then.... tml will be another day.... another day closer to tekong i mean.. heez.... Ciao pple...

5 More days to go...

5 more days to go liao.... (4 1/2 to be more exact) haiz....have been rotting all morning man... really been bored... is the thought of going into army finally taking over me... feeling rather strange this few days... could say it feels like end of the world its coming... i am not sure of it myself... juz been feeling weird...

Guess won't be blogging much about yesterday then... since i have blog so late last night... anyway today, as i say, have rotted ever since i open my eyes this morning, had a couple of weird dreams last night, kept my brain awake for then entire night... strangely this dreams are some what related to recent events, the first one has got someting to do with the changing of the PM, and the 2nd one was of course army life... strangely it was not a nightmare...juz a dream... good omen... i really hope so...

The gang is slowly splitting up with irene, may and xiu going on attachments, me in army, leaving zhong xi sherine and carol of R&R in skool with respective school attachments and projects... hopefully this won't break the bond between our friendship... One thing is for sure... they can meet more freely, and is always a phone call away to a gathering, as for me, i will be stuck in tekong.... haiz.... all adds up to one word... MISS... heez... guess i have gone to far in bonding with the guys at band... ended up i am really bonded to them bad man... heez... Anyway, not sure about plans later.... hopefully there is plans... if not going to be bored to death at home man...seriously... guess thats all i have for the day la... WAH 5 DAYS!!! and counting down.......

Late Blogging.....paiseh....

hey there pple, sorry for the late entry today... haven had time to come online today so only able to blog now... Anyway, i did almost forgot that i haven blog today too... heez.. paiseh...

Yesterday, can say have been the most boring day for the past few weeks... was really rotting at home man... haven't had that for a long time liao... and really dun like it... (wonder how did i managed to survive last time) The bordem finally broke when i decided to make a trip down to yishun to get "some stuff"... was a long bus journey, but managed to endure through it... reached there, went to look around... then finally got the the shop and saw wat i wan to buy... so parts of it was not avaliable, therefore i didn't buy it... so sad... well... in order not to go home empty handed... i went around shopping for things to bring for NS instead... as the days get closer... i am feeling but anxious as well as abit scared too... anxious as a new chapter of life it going to unfold... scared is of the new environment and people i am going to face... But the worse feeling of them all is a great deal of miss... not of freedom, more rather, my family, frens and all the wonderful band practises i have been having... haiz... (oh yah... and my Altus flute too) okok off track liao... Anyway, managed to get a couple of things before heading home for dinner. Watched singapore idol as they unveil the mask of "Banana Man" and shown more wacky scenes of how contestants make a fool of themselves... its was dame farnie... After that was some other programs... after that took our Harry potter book 5 to read while waiting for the Olympic game -> soccer to start (Korea Vs Greece) was a fanstastic match, watched the first half, korea was down by one man as one of their players got sent of after a second booking at the 30 plus min, but korea still managed to take the lead before half time and manage to end the half with a 1-0 lead... was too tired to catch then 2nd half so went to bed after that...

This morning, woke up turn on the tv and channel 5 was screening the repeat to that match, so i managed to catch the 2nd half, korea was superb throughout, manage to take a 2-0 lead after an own goal by greece which was super tyco then, greece prove once again y they were the champions of europe and they were really no push over, managed to equalised at the last mins in the game... its was really not greece day as the hit the wood work man times... lucky for korea i guess... the game ended 2-2, after that, met my daughter for a little sushi... was great, haven been to J8 for a long time.. and things really changed in J8 man... the 2 of us went for the buffet and i tink in a short one hour or so we had 30 plus plates... (scary arh...) lolx...we are big eaters wat to do... heez... then with our satisfied tummy, we explore the new J8 and also give some time for out tummy to digest before heading to skool for band prac... tonite band prac was an enjoyable one... got praised by lao shi twice, once was for the solo in legend of yao (that wasn't sure he was praising me anot, cause i wasn't really looking at him =P) the next was for a small portion in disney fantasy, suppose to be played by oboe but there was no oboe then... so i played... sort of made my day, and everything else went rather smoothly... even fantasy variation... Lao shi is getting stricter after each practise, and at the rate things go.... i am not surprise if lao shi leaves after the up coming symphonia, he already of such old age, i dun really blame him for leaving as he is the onli one in band making effort for the good of the band... but well, its not of my problem, guess i will have more to think about in camp... heez... after that was the usual walk with the usual gang to the bus stop....then is home dinner and tv then blog.... Ok shall blog about tml later then..... going to watch match shortly liao.... Buai

Boring Wednesday

Afternoon pple... really haven got much to blog today, but since i have been blogging everyday and it will be rather weird to miss out today so wat the heck... juz blog ba...lolx

Yesterday, had a good rest (and i mean a good rest) and slack at home till like late afternoon before heading to skool... went to fj to meet up with some of the band members having their dinner... then walked with them back to bandroom for practise. Every things else was pretty much then some except that not everyone can accept the "new look" heez... well its expected... Could say i had a good practise yesterday... 1st out of the last 4 practise, Could roughly master the most of the pieces except for Fantasy Variation... more practise is required... Bond seems to be better after the camp... between the year ones and the seniors...chatting along with the group as we all left skool for the bus stop... its was fun... and i will never forget times like this even when i am in camp (NS)...

Today, feeling exceptionally bored man.... hopefully dun cause me to be moody again... been doing nothing since morning... really miss the days in skool... or at work, at least there is someting to keep u busy with... Know its kinda crazy thought but its at this kinda times i can't wait to get into army... haha.... coz i really hate to have nothing to do... No plans later... have the urge to go walk walk... but cannot find company... guess this boring day will persist.... haiz... ok shall wish all those hu have work... enjoy working man... nothing to write liao... ciaoz...

slightly more then one week to TEKONG!!!

Afternoon pple.... woke up exceptionally late today, to tell u the truth... i juz woke up not long ago at about 2 (heez...) Had lots to do last night and many thoughts to sort out and priority setting to do.... So went to bed rather late... but feeling really fresh now...

Yesterday was ok, went down to waterloo street the temple to pray, for good health or my family and frens and protection over me for my coming NS. the temple was still rather crowded even though its was like 5, after that... went to do some window shopping alone in Parco BJ, alot have changes there (or i should say i haven been there for a long time), there is more things to look at and more items to choose from... Found the shoe i was looking for at the nike shop, tinking of getting it.... most likely sometime this week, then its bye bye to my converse shoes man...(wah ha ha ha)... After buying sometings, was tinking of going down yishun to get someting else i saw the last time i was there.... but looking at the time, i changed my mind, and rushed home to catch NPD instead... got home, juz in time to catch the marching in of the parade... was so grand man... haven have this feeling last time (maybe its because i am going into the army soon, thats y) love the colours contingent, they look so suave... then was awaiting the arrival of the president, then the inspection, in the commandos, the soldier the president actually talked to was a my secondary school fren... so cool right... i was shocked when i saw as well...what honor... the best part i love was the march past...its like the highlights man... then was performance itself... everyting was rather entertaining... last but not the least is the fireworks (breath-taking i would say), things got emotional when they show a tribute of PM Goh, was really touching and indeed, he was the man that brought us through the many difficult times... (THANK YOU PM GOH!!!) when the show comes to an end... i then switched channels to watch someting else and started working on some stuff... Time really flies when i have work to do, 2 plus in the morning, i am still not don't, so i left my stuff and did some "mind sorting" in bed instead, then was off to dreamland...

This morning, was awaken by my mum, there was a visitor from the army who came to talked me on wat to expect during BMT, was a nice chat... kinda paiseh actually, as i was in my not properly groomed and all.... but luckly he was a nice chap and didn't mind much, he even briefed me on wat to bring and all...(thx) Anyway, plans for the day, since its a tuesday, guess all should know my plans then... BAND wat else... haha can be consider my 1st of f the last 4 practise liao ba... will try my best to enjoy each and every one of it man... heez... Guess thats all i have for u guys liao ba... u guys enjoy ur day and God Bless All....

Happy 39th Birthday Singapore!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!! 39 years of independence....that is really fast man...

Had my first ever offical band camp in skool last week... its was great...really want to blog every single details out, but tink it will be too long, so i will try my best to keep it short and sweet... *grinz... The camp started off on friday, so happily packed my stuff and went to school, then spent my afternoon in the bandroom, then watched my daughter (angie) trashed aston in a game of squash... After that, when to look for my gang at their labs so that i can "steal" a computer to do my blogging... *evil grinz... after that, stayed awhile to surf on the Internet, before making my move to meet my bosses at workplace, as they say they had planned a little farewell party for me... Got there, everyone was busy at work (as usual), but everyone have stop what they have on hand and move to the back room where we all have a little pizza and drumlets and of course...BEER... heez... after that session, its was almost time to knock off work, Wayne (one of the directors) made some announcement on the shifting to the new office and some company stuff... then some of the rest moved off to a nearby pub at china square where we had more to drink... was rather touched when one of the bosses, David, actually rushed straight down from the airport for this farewell party... Got a card filled with all the nice regards from these pple... its felt just like home and all of them were like family to me.... seriously gonna miss each and everyone of them.... memory with them will be with me for a long long time.... After the drink session, they were actually planning to bring me somewhere else, but i had to turn them down as i have to return to camp (sorry guys....other time maybe =P)So off i went... took the train with jerdin who was heading to yishun... departed from her when i drop off at AMK to met the rest as the shop for neccessities to be used later on that night.... then as we got back... the year one have some games...sort of got some of the seniors involve onli... so as they had their fun, the few of us "sneaked" off to some place quiet to talk, sing songs lor.... its was a quiet night... and everyone had a long day, so naturally the mood wasn't that lively... but it was ok... took our bath at about 2 in the morning, then when we finally got to bed it was 4 plus in the morning....

Next morning, woke up at about 7.45, was awaken by the chill air from the air con... everyone else around me was still aslp as they were all nicely wrapped up in their sleeping bag, while all i have is a slping mat that i used to lay on... Reluctantly dragged myself up and went to brush my teeth... can feel aches coming from my back and neck... but luckily manage to overcome it... then was waking the rest up... spend majority of the time waking up xiu and may, but had to as they still have fypj to attend to... After my hussle, manage to get them off bed and ready at about 9 (which is still late as they are suppose to start at 8:30, didn't like breakfast provided so we went to have Mac instead, the gers make they way back to the lab first to sort things out while i make my way to have my breakfast and they joined me shortly after... after breakfast was about 11, may went back to her lab while xiu followed me back to bandroom for practise... lao shi is getting stricter by the week... guess he is really pinning hopes on the band... juz hope everyone understands lao shi's effort and work harder and not hate him for it... enjoyed the session but more work have to be done to make it better... After that was lunch, then after lunch, flute section have their master class with their tutor, and i wasn't involve in it as i feel its will not be appropriate for me to attend it as i am not involve in the concert... so happily i grab my towel and when for a few laps in the pool... the weather was great for a swim, then after that.... got myself dried up, then return back to bandroom and joined the clarinet section for a little sectional conducted my zhongxi... After sectionals, everyone was asked to pack up from band for the day and it was time for games once again... The juniors had abit of scavenger hunt around the school... its was great to see everyone having fun... the juniors have been so participative throughout... The highlights of the day i would say would be the water games we had at the carpark, which even got me involved (in the end) Everyone had a great time getting wet (and powdered)... Thanks to Sherine, we manage to capture all these wonderful moment on her digital camera (thx sherine)... After that, everyone help out in cleaning up the mess that have been made... At that moment, i can already feel the bond of the band again... its was really good... then, once everything was done, everyone head for a shower as all where filthy man... Glad to got to know my juniors better... Adeline, Fung cheng, Hui Min and Glory,, if i am not mistaken...(sorry if i got ur name spelled wronly too...heez) got feedback from them that they tot i was a strict person... hopefully after the camp they will not tink this way... coz i believe fear is not the way to get things done...=P They are wonderful juniors.... sherine and karen have a little get together with them too... i was initally in, but slowly felt left out... maybe because i am the onli guy senior there perhaps... so i have decided to let the ger have abit of the "girly time" together, while i did some stuff... got to bed at close to 5...

Next morning, as it was a sunday, so there wasn't air conditoning (luckily...) manage to have abit of slp till about 11 in the morning, was a much better nap compare to the first night... After washing up, packed up out stuff and head back to bandroom, There, Jaceline made phone orders to Macdonalds for our Bunch (breakfast cum lunch) i had a Big Mac meal, then all were gather in front of the tv to watch a "horror" film... its was in episodes so we didn't really finish it all as the school were closing as we were asked to leave... guess we will be continuing it some other time i guess... left with zhong xi and sherine (and xiu who made last min changes to her plans) to amk... to get "some business" settled... then after it was done, had dinner and a little walk at sports link and popular before we decided to call it a day and go home... everyone was rather tired i have to say (including myself)... Got home dumped my stuff on the bed and head straight for the shower, took a cold bathe so it sort of woke me up abit.. so i watch abit of tv, there was a concert on last night, its was name "109th Last Night of the Prom", the concert was great man, played many familiar pieces... enjoyed it throughout... as it ends, i got to my room and did some packing before heading to bed.... And guess that sorts of end my first (and i guess last) band camp... heez... sorry if there is too much too read, this is the shortest i tried...

This morning, woke up at about 11:30, been doing nothing much except watching tv and surfing the internet... no plans on our nation's birthday, may seems abit sad but will i did need abit of rest as well... Anyway, might be going out alone later, for a little walk at bugis and see what i can buy... heez... if not guess that all i have for the day... well... shall end off today's blog with then nation's pledge... May everyone one stay happy as we awaits the arrival of a new PM and work towards thhe next year of independence.... LOVE u all my fellow frens and country man...
